Producing the Pope at DBTI and then the opening ceremony with King Charles III during CHOGM in Samoa within a month was pretty wild (while also helping to build TV9s brand new studio - amazing experience there. Thankful for the people we continue to meet across the Pacific who share the same passion we have for redefining where the limits are.

It was an amazing experience this time around in Honiara. Rarely been on a production that didn't feel like work. Just felt like a day out with the brothers.

Don't let the photos fool you, it's not as complicated as it seems. At the end of the day we were just a bunch of passionate Pacific Islanders coming together to try to tell a uniquely Pacific Story.

Regardless of nationality, all our Pacific Women who competed did so with the grace and strength thats synonymous with the generational history of Pacific Island women.

We hope we told that story authentically to the world.

Pope Francis visit, 2024:

A lot of folks would say that this was a massive achievement for the team in being able to deliver live coverage back to NBC to then distribute across the world.

We see it as nothing more than an indication that we are heading in the right direction when it comes to our standard of work and our ability to execute under pressure.

And pressure there was - countless man hours spent in planning, designing and getting approvals from the Vatican to accommodating last minute requests and changes.

A special word of thanks to Blue7team for stepping in to support us with an 8m x 4m LED screen and PA system for the thousands of people gathered outside to see the Pope, and Graham and PIKSA PAPUA NEW GUINEA for providing these photos (we totally forgot to take some). Having them take care of that let us focus on the Broadcast.

"Amazing pictures" was what we were told was said about our coverage by our Host Broadcaster NBC. All that means is Ernest,
.p.n.g and Mr. Bill Kamaki and Mr. Stephen Hachi from Honiara did an amazing job to the standard we always aim for 🤘🏽

Finally, a special thank you to the team at Telikom, EMTV ( you guys rock!), Mrs. Homareng at DICT and Sebastian and Bumbu at NBC for being an absolute pleasure to work with and learn from.

When we got the call to join the broadcast team for the Pope's visit to Papua New Guinea, we called in the most experienced guys we knew.

Elwyn Agonia - handled our broadcast mix and a separate mix for the Vatican Media as well as the front of house PA for the thousands gathered outside (worked the last Papal visit in 95) 🇵🇬

Stephen Hachi - built the international broadcast center in Honiara for the games so it made sense to bring him in as our broadcast engineer 🇸🇧

Graham Robinson - our first ever client, Graham came in to lend his eye to the finer details for composition. He also supplied all our photos 🇵🇬

Bill Kamaki - a man who needs no introduction in Papua New Guinean TV Broadcast, directed for us (also worked the last Papal visit in 95) 🇵🇬

Can't stress enough how thankful we are to have worked alongside some of the Pacifics most experienced technical operators.

It’s been an awesome experience getting both contribution and distribution set for CHOGM as part of the Host Broadcasting team. Massive bonus was getting to finally meet and work with Chris Dredge from LiveU and Thomas Roux.

Amazing work by the team to bring the PNG leg of the Oceania Qualifiers for the FIFA WORLD CUP 2026 to air. After nearly a year of doing a tier 1 OFC comp, it was good to get together and crack out one last OFC job for the year. Special thank you to Blue7Team and Ben Oli for answering the call when we needed a helping hand. And a massive thank you to the entire crew from both PNG and Fiji who came together again to deliver for the region.

Oceania Rugby 7s in Honiara will be a special one for us. Booked out flights from Fiji meant we had half the team we needed and our PNG crew ended up pulling super long hours on cameras (north of 10hrs each day).

But in keeping with the ethos of resilience and single minded determination - characteristics inherent to we Melanesians, we were able to pull through together.

It was truly special knowing an entirely Melanesian crew was able to come together from 3 different countries and bring live pictures to 17 broadcasters and more online via RUGBY Pass in order to showcase an amazing celebration of Pacific Islands Rugby, Culture, and Community.

Special thank you to our Client Oceania Rugby for trusting us to deliver such an amazing tournament for the pacific region

It's been an amazingly challenging 2 days over at Sir Hubert Murray Stadium covering the PNGRU National 15s Championships. A last minute engagement by PNGRU for us to stream meant we had little time to prep...so we swung it on the fly. No pads, no helmets - just balls.

A completely different shooting style to what we're used to with corporate and state events but true to form, we stayed focused on our ability to be flexible just to ensure our clients get the best possible value from our work.
..which is just a fancy way of saying we're pretty good at troubleshooting issues that come up (even while we're live and on air 🥲)

Today's gig saw the team executing our set design and layout with one of our most valued clients - Blue7Team Events & Productions, to deliver the people of RAPATONA LLG an opportunity to host the people of Manus and their Governor, Hon. Charlie Benjamin so that they can engage in open dialogue about the collective future of the people of Manus.

I could list the number of deliverables and tech that the team was able to roll out, but that would belittle the value we were able to add to todays event.

It can be summed up by saying that it's an entirely different level of satisfaction when guests come for speeches but leave with an experience.

An idea should never start with "what" - it must always begin with "why"

This is the "why" for the people of the RAPATONA local level government who decided in 2021 to begin the rehabilitation of their traditional clan systems and structures in order to provide a foundation upon which their communal growth and development can be lain.

The clan system has, for countless generations, provided the order and structure that allowed them to thrive and create complex social dynamics and relationships between each Clan, Village and Island across RAPATONA.

This movement of forward "Together", constitutes the rebirth of that heritage in the eyes of the 21st Century with the assitance of the Governor for Manus Province Hon. Charlie Benjamin, and the Sons and Daughters of RAPATONA.
