The Hiri Moale Festival is an annual event celebrated by the Motuans. This is the reacting of the return of the famous lagatoi from the hiri trade. This is probably the biggest sea voyage traditional trade on record. Here is a short highlight of the festival that took place on the 23rd March 2024, at Ela Beach, Port Moresby.

On the 9th of June 2023, staff of Digicel Pacific took time out from their busy day to day schedule to help in a community base project under the Digicel Foundation in repainting an existing classroom and cleaning around the classroom at the Cheshire Disability Service Centre at Hohola.

The southern cassowary (Casuarius), also known as double-wattled cassowary, or two-wattled cassowary, is a large flightless black bird. It is one of the three living species of cassowary, alongside the dwarf cassowary and the northern cassowary. It is a Ratite and therefore related to the emu, ostriches, rheas and kiwis.
