BYU Pathway Way to Go 💪 🙏 ☺

"I always wanted to finish college, but life often gets in the way for moms. Once my youngest child started kindergarten, I knew it was time. BYU-Pathway held an information session in my stake, and after attending, I signed up. Little did I know, continuing my education would be one of the hardest things I (and my family) have ever done.

"Five years later, I finally completed my degree, taking 1-3 classes each term at BYU-I. Going through BYU-Pathway with my sister-in-law, while balancing full-time work and family, was a great experience. The supportive environment and our BYU-Pathway missionaries were fantastic.

"We made many friends and had memorable experiences. This journey taught me that despite 20 years away from school, I could learn new things, and our determination to be college-educated would overcome challenges.

"Completing PathwayConnect and BYU-I filled gaps in my knowledge. I've used skills from every class, even those 'required' for my degree, in my job and daily life. I'm glad I took the leap of faith to enroll."

Hahaha! David didn’t need stilts—he used stones to beat Goliath! You can read about it in 1 Samuel 17.

And in general conference a couple weeks ago, Sister Andrea Spannaus talked about those stones.

“What if each of David’s stones represented a strength we need to be triumphant in our lives?” she asked. Here are the examples she gave:

1.My love for God.
2.My faith in our Savior, Jesus Christ.
3.The knowledge of my true identity.
4.My daily repentance.
5.My access to God’s power.

God can help you overcome all of your trials and enemies!

Scripture of the Day: “Believe in God; believe that he is, and that he created all things, both in heaven and in earth; believe that he has all wisdom, and all power, both in heaven and in earth; believe that man doth not comprehend all the things which the Lord can comprehend” (Mosiah 4:9).

In other words... God comprehends (understands) a lot more than we do!

We forget that sometimes. As humans, we can tend to become proud of how smart we are and what we’ve achieved. If we’re not careful, this can lead to people assuming that if they don’t have a solution to a problem, there isn’t one.

Which is silly! Get over yourselves, humans!

Just because God has not yet revealed the details doesn’t mean answers don’t exist!

Life has many unanswered questions, especially about the next life. For example, what happens when family members are sealed but some don’t remain faithful? What about those who never marry in this life? Or people who seem saddled with insurmountable challenges?

We’re promised that things will work out—but how they’ll work out, exactly, we don’t know.

God isn’t scrambling, trying to figure out how to fulfill the promises He made to us. He’s got this!

We have to trust that He will make things known to us when the time is right. Until then, take comfort in the fact that God understands the things that you don’t.

Mormons, or members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, hold the view that the knowledge and experiences gained in this life have eternal significance. We believe that education is not just for mortal life but also plays a role in the afterlife.

In Mormon theology, the afterlife includes opportunities for continued learning and progression. The concept of eternal progression is central to Mormon doctrine, suggesting that individuals will continue to learn, grow, and develop even after this life.
