Broken Trust

The first time I saw you
I see love and life
The first day that you met me
You promised all I could have

Yet you never keep up to it
The truth is you never knew what you said
That's what makes me sad

Yet you only call me when you are hurt
You want to be with me only to ease your pain

I'm here without hope,
Having no confidence
In someone like you
Who betrayed my trust for you
I'm broken yet stronger.
