I met my fiancé at work. He was funny, kind, and confident. Our relationship developed quickly.

I had just earned my dream job as a full-fledged surgeon, wearing the title with pride. During a late shift, an ambulance brought in a homeless woman needing urgent surgery. No insurance, no papers—without my help, she wouldn't survive.

I know it's the 21st century, but it's still acceptable in my culture to have arranged marriages. However, I studied in the US and already experienced the freedom and courage women have there.
So, my parents found me a fiancé while I was there and presented me with the fact. When I met him and his family, he was SO arrogant and rude, trying to undermine me.
Seeing his behavior, his parents blushed and started telling us how he helped the poor. He rolled his eyes, as did I. I thought, "God, do I need to bear this my whole life?"
So, just before our wedding, I decided to test him since he "helps the poor."
I dressed like a homeless person and waited for him, sitting near a restaurant. But when he came out and I addressed him... my jaw dropped; it was NOTHING like I expected as he ⬇️
