Summary of the Ministry of Labor's decision regarding (outpass) :
🔸 The exemption will be for a period of 6 months, starting from 1 February to 31 July 2025.

💠 For labors :
▪️The worker is exempted from fines if 7 years have passed since the expiration of the work card.

▪️ The worker only pays the residence renewal fee, without any fines.

▪️The report of absconding from work can be cancelled and then the card can be renewed or transferred to another company.

▪️ Any worker whose card has expired can transfer to another company directly.

▪️ If the ban on the worker is not lifted, the worker or sponsor can pay for a travel ticket, after which the worker can leave the Sultanate directly and permanently.

💠 For companies :
▪️ Companies are exempted from financial obligations to the Ministry of Labor, provided that the worker is deported or transferred to another company.

▪️ Exempting companies and employers from paying the cost of transporting a worker (travel ticket) for 2017 and earlier.

🔸Renewal, transfer to another company and final departure services can be provided through the Ministry of Labor website or Sand offices starting from February 1, 2025.

Stop mocking divorced people and spare them your sermons of "God hates divorce." Let them leave, and let God alone judge them for their decisions.

People should be allowed to leave their marriages when they have exhausted every possible option to mend it.

The fear of "What will people say?" has sent many to an early grave. And what happens next? The highest people will do is attend the burial, and within a few months, life goes on. Meanwhile, her innocent children will be left at the mercy of relatives because the useless man who couldn’t keep the home together can’t even care for them.

You don’t owe anyone an EVERLASTING marriage at the expense of your sanity or safety. No one should have to endure a toxic or dangerous union for appearances. Oh, the innocent children 😭 💔They will carry the trauma for life, left to fend for themselves while their so-called father remains useless.

What could make a human being take a life they didn’t create?

I stand for DIVORCE, and I say it unapologetically. Yes, leave when it gets toxic. Don’t stay. To hell with whatever society has to say. If you leave and anyone dares to taunt you for walking away from a marriage that was clearly threatening your life, make sure they don’t go scot-free. Make sure you respond to them with words that leave an impact, they have no idea what you went through.

Yes, marrying the wrong person is unfortunate, but refusing to make it RIGHT by leaving is even worse. It’s okay to mistakenly walk into the wrong room, but it’s not okay to remain there. Your life is worth so much more than a bad marriage.

Men face abuse too. Abuse does not discriminate, it cuts across gender, age, and social standing. Please, LEAVE to LIVE.
Society must stop the stereotypes that silence men in abusive marriages. A man’s pain is no less valid than a woman’s, and his life is just as precious.

This post isn’t for those who leave their marriages over issues that can be resolved. I’m talking about real issues here, issues that threaten your physical, emotional, or mental well-being.

- Leave for yourself. Your life and sanity are worth saving.

- Leave for your children. They deserve a healthy, happy parent and a chance at a stable future.

- Leave for your parents and siblings. They would rather have you alive and free than broken or gone.

Marriage is not the sum total of your existence. You came into this world with a purpose far bigger than marriage. Don’t let an abusive situation steal that purpose from you. Please, leave so you can heal, grow, and fulfill your destiny.

Your life is your own, it’s not a sacrifice to societal expectations or stereotypes. Save yourself, because you matter.
