Video of Imogen Skelton setting an ITM Meet Record in the Mainland Foundation Women's High Jump with a perfect comp to set a new PB of 1.87m (to edge Japan's Nagisa Takahashi who also cleared 1.87m to claim a new PB), and Douw Botes winning the U20 Men's Javelin in the Pre Meet with 68.62m and exceeding the performance standard for World Juniors in Peru.
Fantastic to have Lawrence Okoye, Great Britain at ITM24. He was last in NZ to play rugby and made himself available for the Crusaders as a late sub. Having spent 7 years in the NFL he would be an asset.
Lucky for Track and Field this Diamond League Final winner and Commonwealth Games Silver Medallist was in action at ITM24 in the Spectrum Print Men’s Discus.
Lawrence improved his Season’s Best with 63.30m to place second behind Commonwealth Games Champion Matt Denny (Aus) who broke Connor Bell’s ITM Meet Record with a 65.79m throw.
We hope to see both Lawrence and Matt back at ITM with a match up against Connor Bell. Speaking of being back at ITM, we would like to take this opportunity to thank Spectrum Print who have been an incredible partner to ITM since 2010. Thank you.

Rosie Elliott 200m NZ Record
Rosie Elliott W200m NZ Record ITM23 Full Noise! International Track Meet 2023, ITM23 Full Noise delivered a host of Meet Records, Stadium Records, Personal Bests and Seasons Bests at the World Athletics Continental Tour Bronze event.
The highlight of these performances was the New Zealand Women’s 200m Record set by Rosie Elliott. Having first competed at ITM13 as a fifteen-year-old in the W100m at Christs College, Rosie emerged as a headline athlete in 2023 after narrowly being the runner up over 200m at ITM21 and ITM22.
This year she won not one event, but two taking the honours in the W100m equalling her personal best before setting a NZ Record 40 minutes later over 200m, pushed all the way by defending ITM Champion and good friend Georgia Hulls. Hulls also went under the old record.
The team at International Track and Field Trust wish Rosie Elliott all the best in achieving the 400m record in addition to her 200m record. We are thrilled to have Rosie as a second-generation ITM Poster Athlete to benefit from the International Track Meet pathway from talented teen to world class athlete! Congratulations Rosie.
