I just can't stay away from this game! Starting a new Elden Ring playthrough tonight. This time as a Confessor.

Apart from swapping out the starting sword for a morning sar we'll do the entire run without changing starting equipment!!! Madness!!

Using my spirit ashes in a tough fight against one of the main bosses in Elden Ring. I was defeated, but that didnt stop the lone surviving spirit ash warrior from fighting on! What a champ!

Just since everyone else is and I have played them all for the first time in the last year here is my preferred order of Soulsborne games (and Sekiro)!

1: Bloodborne
2: Dark Souls
3: Demons Souls
4: Dark Souls 3
5: Dark Souls 2
6: Sekiro

If I wasnt so old and had a modicum of muscle memory Sekiro would be much higher but the boss fights are way too hard for me so I rage quit.

As 2021 draws to a close it's time to look back on what has been at times a strange, and pandemic impacted year.

My personal highlights was late August, which is when I became a Twitch affiliate but in terms of gaming:

Gaming highlight: Completing the Dark Souls trilogy plus Demons Souls.

Game of the year: Halo Infinite

Most anticipated game of 2022: Elden Ring (although a little excited about Witcher 3 next gen update!)
