Vanity post. 😂🙈 look it was always going to happen! 😬 these photos are a year apart. But shows a year of discipline. Counting calories, sticking to a strict eating regime. And mostly dropping alcohol. Mostly cos I’m about five c***s in right now! So to speak! I don’t know why I’m doing it. Maybe cos it’s the only thing I can control as out of control father of 3. But I feel good, in the shirts I wear and the way I feel. And you can’t argue with that! 💪

We used a hose to get hot water from the bath tap to the pool! Probably going to send the power bill through the roof but it was worth is! ⚡️💡😂
AD Reflection was ruining our TV experience. On a sunny day, we couldn’t even see the TV. So I went looking for an alternative. And I found one. The TV I landed on is the 65” Neo QLED QN900 8K. We have gone from being unable to see the TV on a sunny day to not being able to notice any effect from the sun. It’s a staggering difference. It’s not only from the anti-reflection technology (there is an anti-glare film that reduces light reflection) but also because of the brightness of the screen and Quantum Dot technology. It also has Ultra viewing angle… which gives a consistent picture regardless of where you are watching the TV from… so if you are whipping up dinner for the kids in the kitchen… which is off to the side, the picture is still brilliant. We didn’t know how much of the home cinema experience we were missing until we got a Samsung Neo QLED and it’s no surprise - Samsung is the number 1 TV brand globally for 17 years running!

Mum and Dad got invited with all young cool people to go and check out the new flip phones! That are fricken sweet! Once it’s folded open you can’t even see the seam & the screen is huge! Such a cool piece of kit!

4x the clarity of a 4K TV. Home Cinema has taken over going to the cinema as our favourite way to enjoy films. It’s that good. It also has an Xbox build into it. All you need to do is wirelessly connect an Xbox remote and you can play a huge variety of online games. You just sign up and choose from Halo, Forza, Flight simulator and loads more… and there are plenty of games for the kids too. All without having to have an awkward Xbox console and all its wires, plugs and charge cables… which works for us with all the little hands around that are constantly trying to pull things. And the gaming experience on this TV will blow your mind.

Our daycare only has room for one of the twins on a Tuesday. So they alternate. And today it was Cosettes turn to stay home and play with mum and dad. At the moment they do about 2 days a week. Having time apart is proving monumental for their confidence. Today we took the go cart to the marina and through rocks. It’s the little things 💕💕

I started last September after a wake up from my Dr () my cholesterol had jumped up and I was drinking to much.
I have quit drinking, quit sugar and I’ve changed from eating for pleasure to eating for fuel. Look, there’s been a few slips (mostly booze) but not many! I eat pasta and bread… but only the correct portions. Cos carbs are good for training power. 🤜 Some would say it’s a miserable existence. 😂 but I certainly feel better. The simple plan is 30mins steady state cardio and 35 minutes weights 5 x per week!
I’m proud of my application. My stubbornness to stick to a plan. 🤨
The main thing I’ve learned is that everything we know about exercise when we are younger no longer applies. Being open to learning new strategies is everything…. And the devil is in the detail. Every detail.

I found out tonight that parenting and radio is quite a challenging task 😂🥴
Z energy have gone electric. And they are doing it well… if you have an electric car or thinking about going that way. They have some big juicy charges, and for some cars that can give you 100km in 8 minutes. They are all over the place, and the network is growing all of the time.
The best thing of all is the app… it makes it really easy to find the Z energy stores… but the payment is processed in the app. Its brilliant. So take the EV into Z energy… plug in, grab a Frappe, or a barista brewed Late. Maybe even one their delicious freshly baked pies. (yes I know, how good does that sound) and charge yourself while you top up your battery!

Potentially the best video I’ve ever shot. Was in Italy shooting a TV show called DNA Detectives that traced my ancestry, after suffering the worst stomach bug of my life in Sardinia.
