This enhances an artists presence in the industry by taking away the business side of music and letting the artist concentrate on creativity, recording, content and touring. PlasticGroove works closely with NZ Music, NZ On Air, DRM, PR companies and overseas booking agents, venues and record companies. we aim to do for a band is as follows:
1. Ensure that the internet presence is as good as it can be, this includes a website. A website is the only thing you can control, social media is not something you own.
2. Assist with funding.
4. Distribute your music worldwide.
5. Create a business plan for your future.
6. Assist in putting you in touch with the right music insider.
7. Assisting with tours.
8. Act as mentors in the world of music.
9. Pitch bands overseas for festivals.
10. Ensure you have a great BIO / EPK.
11. Enable vinyl production.
12. Assist in music video direction.
13. Organise studios, introduce you to the best engineers / producers in the industry.
14. Ensure you have great artwork.
15. Ensure you have great press photos.
16. Develop Press releases.
17. Add your music to DISCO (industry standard platform).
18. Apply for sync licences with music supervisors (film / game / TV)
19. Ensure you have a proper contract in place certified by a lawyer.
20. Ensure your music is registered correctly with APRA and splits between band members are signed. In essence we care about your music, and to be the best you need to take care of the business side, that's where we can help. We no longer manage bands as we don't have time, but as you can see below, we are here for you.
