X has a new, cheaper plan for business verification.
It costs $200/mo or $2000/year.
This plan is for small businesses and includes ad credits, faster support, and other benefits from X Premium+.
The old plan costs $1,000/mo, is still there, and offers more perks like making your posts more visible and giving blue checkmarks to employees.
At $200 per month, it seems like a much better deal than X's original package.

2. Study successful ads: use TikTok's Top Ads listing to see which ads do best. Choose your area and type of product to see good examples of ads.

Instagram now lets you make your own special Story templates.
You can use pictures, text, and GIFs to make fun Story quizzes or messages.
To make one, just add what you want to your Story, then pick “Add Yours Templates” and choose what to keep in the template.
Instagram also has ready-made templates you can use or get ideas from.
When you share your Story, it asks others to add their own version.

Instagram has made a change to its Marketing API.
This lets third-party apps offer a new kind of ad placement on Instagram.
Back in March, Instagram allowed brands to show ads based on search keywords in the app.
Now, with the new change, customers can make and see these ads via API.
This also allows for ad analytics, meaning apps like Hootsuite or Sprout Social can create and analyze ads.
This might make more brands want to try Instagram's new Search Ads placement.
Another way to expand your Instagram promotions.

Snapchat is launching a new version of its AR Try-On Lens to let users virtually try on nail polish.
The tool will be more real-looking and responsive than before.
Users can see how different nail polish shades look on their nails in the app. Brands can add textures and designs to users' nails in the virtual try-on.
Snapchat continues to build out its AR capacity.

Twitter just released the latest algorithm to the public.
What works for you:
• Every time a user engages with your tweets, you gain points on that tweet.
• Comments under a post and pfoile clicks work better than post likes
• Your interaction with others users matter. Talk with people who post NSFW content or US political takes, you get de-ranked
• It takes 30+ days for a new accounts to rank
• If the language you tweet in doesn't match the language in your settings, you're getting de-ranked
• Twitter Blue gives you boost
• Using images, videos works good for algorithm
• Twitter threads get a big boost

YouTuben Shorts ad revenue share program redistributes around half of the revenue generated via Shorts ads.
Despite being better than TikTok and IG in terms of money, payouts have been lower than expected.
E.g. Zach King generated 196M views Shorts clips and only received $2,918 in revenue.
YouTube's new Shorts revenue share program isn't making anyone rich yet.

LinkedIn's "Open-to-Work" feature has been enhanced with job alert systems.
New option allows job seekers to register their interest in working for an organization from their company page.
Turning on Open-to-Work increases chances of being messaged by a recruiter by 2x.
"Hiring in my network" filter for job searches shows who among your first and second-degree connections is recruiting.
Skills Match listings on open roles have been expanded.
Job seekers can soon share their resume details with all recruiters in the app.

Snapchat has launched a new AI chatbot feature (powered by ChatGPT) for its Snapchat+ subscribers, called 'My AI'.
The new feature allows subscribers to ask My AI a range of questions, including suggestions for birthday gifts, recipes, and travel ideas.
Snap however warns that My AI is prone to hallucination and may make mistakes, and all conversations will be stored for review purposes.
Snapchat jumps aboard the generative AI train with a new ChatGPT-like experience in-app.

Microsoft will soon allow paid links within AI-generated responses to search results in its Bing chatbot experience.
Bing chatbot ads will be bigger and more prominent than regular search ads, providing more opportunities to reach users in the discovery phase.
