Is it time to take Coastguard away from a Voluntary model and provide more adequate funding?

That is a good question, whilst in some cases the volunteer Coastguard works, Generally on lakes or in Harbours, but anything outside of that and our current model is failing.

Coastguard is a charity, receives funding from Lotto, the general public etc but they are under manned, under resourced, and in many cases have boats which are unsuitable for the task. ....

All of this fuss with Hip Drop tackles, what is and what isn’t some people being sent off for what doesn’t appear to be, yet some people allowed to play with what appears to be more blatant hip drop tackles is confusing, and bringing the sport into disrepute.

I maybe a warriors fan, but have watched numerous games this year where the calls have gone badly not just for hip drop tackles, but for all aspects of the game. Which appears to be that some teams can’t catch a break from the referees, and some teams are overlooked. This isnt just in Warriors games but right accross the board....
