🇫🇯 🇼🇸 is today & tomorrow one of our YUMMY delicacy 😋❤️ and were out early morning gathering the food of the gods but no in yet? 😪

HERE'S SOME FACTS:
🪱 Scientific name, Eunice viridis & English name sea worms
🪱 Male are redish brown and Female are green
🪱 They rise to the ocean surface from the reefs once or twice a year, around October & November after a full moon
🪱 It’s actually not the worm that is eaten it's the ge****ls of the worms
🪱 It's one of the largest sea or**es. Where the male and female genitalia leave the bodies of the worm and go in search to find each other at the surface
🪱 The mating rituals of the palolo worm is actually when the worm is MIA ☺️
🪱 Once the eggs have been fertilised they float back down to the sands where they start their journey into growing into the worms.

in American Samoa 🇦🇸 & Samoa 🇼🇸 Cook Islands 🇨🇰 Balolo in Fiji 🇫🇯 is in an actual place in Oahu & seen in Hawaiʻi not sure if eaten there? 🌺 in Milne Bay, Papua New Guinea 🇵🇬 in some Provinces in Solomon Islands 🇸🇧 Tonga 🇹🇴 in Vanuatu 🇻🇺 also a delicacy in other countries in Indonesia 🇮🇩 Japan 🇯🇵 also seen in Texas, US 🇺🇲 any other Countries? 🤔
