Our responsibility is to ensure we do not compromise the inheritance and well-being of future generations. I have supported and mentored many Masters and PhD students at the University of Waikato who, as future leaders, now hold significant regional and national positions in government and non-government environmental agencies. We need to respond to the current challenges at scale and pace to achieve the transformational change required for our region.
