How Communities Heal Stories of Social Innovation and Social Change in New Zealand

HOW COMMUNITIES HEAL tells the unique stories of a group of New Zealand social entrepreneurs, and their work to create systemic and sustainable solutions to New Zealand’s social challenges. This project seeks to foster social innovation in New Zealand by highlighting and promoting the particular variety of leadership that brings entrepreneurship, innovation and practical hope into our communities.

A series of profiles on each of the social entrepreneurs features the personal stories of being a social innovator, and looks at the projects and programmes they are operating. The project also features a series of articles from vivian Hutchinson on social entrepreneurship and social innovation, and the tools and ideas that the social entrepreneur learning community has been exploring. The project is to be launched in 2011 and distributed freely online, as well as being available in a limited printed edition.
