RIP Sinead. Her ripping the Pope's face up on live tv was a massivly defiant middle finger to the Catholic Church's cover up of abuse in care, that very few people had the balls to talk about. What a force. I highly reccomend the amazing doco about her "Nothing Compares" that's on tvnz ondemand. Especially if like me, you were confused around the rhetoric about her being unhinged.
Also: so many great songs.
