The company has always maintained a strong interest in social issues and this is reflected in a number of not- for-broadcast projects for organisations like The Problem Gambling Foundation, Lifeline, and the Ministries of Health, Education and Justice. Established in 1988 by Vincent Burke, the company has offices in Auckland and Wellington. Vincent is largely based in Wellington and business partner Laurie Clarke oversees the running of the Auckland office. Vincent, Laurie and the Top Shelf team take great pride in making quality programmes that inform, entertain and engage New Zealand and international audiences.
