Targa South Island, Leg One, SS7. Graham Valley River Bridge. Loose gravel combined with a tight right meant trouble for a few competitors. 966 Andy Oakley was the second victim, he though hammered the armco very hard sending posts into the below river, so lucky not to follow them. Frontal damage prevented Andy from continuing on.
