We are pretty sure we have now processed everyone’s refunds for our cancelled 2024 awards. If you have not received yours, please private message or email us so we can check and follow up for you.

We still have a number of trophies that have not been returned from our 2023 winners. These still need to be returned so we can check them off and know they’re all in order for 2025!

Speaking of 2025, we really do not want to be left in the position we found ourselves in this year - with not enough helpers to ensure the event can run efficiently and effectively. If you would be prepared to give us a few hours of your time next year (or more, if you’re as crazy as we are!) to help out and/or are interested in joining the committee, please get in touch. Many hands make light work! We really want to see the 2025 event back on track with all systems go. But for this to happen, we need people power!

And last but not least, we’d like to say a huge thanks to everyone that has been so supportive and sent us such lovely messages. We really appreciate, and are so grateful for, your loyalty, patience and understanding surrounding the sad cancellation of this year’s event . You all rock in the best way! So, here’s to onwards and upwards, and bring on 2025!

Due to the cancellation of our event, we are currently going through the process of setting up refunds for everyone that had registered for our event. However, could the following people, listed below, please confirm with us, via email, their bank account details so that their Final Show tickets can also be refunded?

It is with deep regret that due to personal circumstances beyond our control we have to announce that our 2024 event has been cancelled.

I am sure you can appreciate this has been an incredibly difficult decision for us to make, and not a decision we have made lightly. However, with an integral member of our committee no longer available for the 2024 awards, we now find ourselves, as a committee, simply spread too thin to ensure we can deliver the awards to the high standard that we have run for the past six years and continue to strive for.

Everyone that entered should have received an email advising of this cancellation. If you haven’t, please check your spam. Notifications were sent to the email address you registered with. As a registered competitor of our 2024 event please be assured your entry fee and any additional purchases will be fully refunded to your registered bank account.
If you do not receive your fees refund within the next two weeks, please email us and we will sort for you as soon as possible.

If you hold an award/trophy from our 2023 event we still need these to be returned as soon as possible.

We very much appreciate your support of our CMDA Awards and hope we can rely on your continued support in the future.

We would also like to acknowledge the understanding and support given to us from our wonderful and loyal sponsors, adjudicators, and the best backing band around, ‘Saddle Sore’. We appreciate you all so much!

Congratulations again if you were a trophy winner at our 2023 CMDA event. But guess what?! We need these trophies back now!

We are super busy gearing up for our 2024 Awards so it’s now time to ensure that your trophy has been engraved and returned to us no later than Saturday 9th March - although preferably sooner!

Time is flying by, and our small committee is working hard to ensure another great event! Have you registered yet? Entries can be easily done online through our CMDA website (specific age groups are shown in the photo below). Also, a gentle reminder about returning those trophies! We look forward to seeing you there!

Happy New Year from all of us at CMDA! Wishing you all a happy, healthy and fun filled 2024! We are already gearing up for this years event which will, once again, be held over Easter from Friday 29th March to Sunday 31st March. Keep a look out for our entries opening on the 29th January and make sure you get your accommodation booked now if you are coming from out of town! You can expect another great event with our amazing backing band ‘Saddle Sore’ and exciting new prizes! Watch this space for all updates.
