Righto, we are now on the countdown for the first music quiz for 2024 only 3 weeks to go, Saturday 24 February, Runanga Club this time 7.30 start (please be on-time) $5 per person. Ca$h prizes, fun for all. As always, I have a new idea or two to try on you all (I can hear the groans already). Hope to see a big crowd for this one.

That's 10 (same as 2023) I have space for two more which will be at Dunollie if they want me back - to be confirmed.
I hope to see all my regulars back and some new faces - I have some new quiz ideas to try on you all.

In the words of Porky Pig "That's all folks". Last music quiz for 2023 done & dusted. Congratulations to "Agatha Quizztee" taking it out with 124 out of 135, beating "Just Us" in a tie breaker for first place. Thanks to all the other 11 teams for making it such an enjoyable night. I will post 2024 dates as soon as they are locked in. Any suggestions for feature artists or different types of rounds would be greatly appreciated. Have a Merry Christmas and a happy new year and I will see you all again in 2024.

Hey there, a reminder.

The next and last Music Quiz for 2023 is next weekend (Sat 25 November) at Greymouth RSA, 7.30 start.

Feature artist is Michael Jackson and I have a couple of rounds remembering artists that have passed away this year. Lets make it a big night, hope to see a huge crowd for a fun night.

Great quiz last night. 11 Teams with the scores so close. Scores were out of 130 with 1st place going to "Simple Minds" with 123 (they were last at the last quiz - well done). 2nd, "No Idea" (122) 3rd "Montys Python" (121) and 4th "One Down" (119) Next quiz 4 November DUNOLLIE HOTEL. Feature artist David Bowie. Hope to see "Bookworms" & "Moonlighters" back for that one.
