Taking on the NZ Foodwriters Food rescue challenge with some of NZs most wasted foods - broccoli stalks, bread and citrus.
Attempted to make some broccoli stalk rostis with grated broccoli stalk, parmesean and breadcrumbs made from old bread. They kinda worked. Can say they were delicious and none wasted! 😋.
If not rostis, they'd be a tasty, crispy, topping to pasta.
