Mr Ed had a fabulous time at the Zealong Tea Estate on the outskirts of Hamilton last Friday with Marketing Manager Sen Kong, learning all about the tea-making process, and the export ambitions of the Zealong brand. Can understand why this company has won so many awards, and why it is becoming such a popular tourist destination.
Of course, you can read the full story in our August issue of NZBusiness, as well as on the ExporterToday website. Zealong Tea

Sounds like a great remembrance of a sad day in New Zealand's history.
Mr Ed was recently in Queenstown and loved it.
Anyone been over the stunning Crown Range road between Queenstown and Wanaka lately and discovered the Cadrona Hotel and CafĂŠ? Built in 1863 during the gold rush era and long before the arrival of flat whites and lattes, it is a delightful blend of yesteryear with modern day. The garden setting at the back was an oasis on a 30-plus degree scorcher of a day! Cardrona Hotel, NZ
Mr Ed went on a jolly jaunt to Christchurch and a day trip to Akaroa this week. The CBD is taking on a new life â now itâs a case of canât see many of the munted buildings for the big shiny new ones. Had to also share some of his glorious shots of Akaroa.
Mr Ed put a hard hat on his ânonkoâ yesterday to check out the new B:Hive (Business Hive) building at Smales Farm on Aucklandâs North Shore. In a word: A-Ma-Zing! Itâs the business building that âbreaks the rules that have always held back forward thinking businessesâ. He even tried his hard hat out while attempting to duck under some scaffolding. Yep â it worked! Smales Farm

Wow! NZBusiness was at the Kea World Class New Zealand Gala Dinner last night and what a spectacular occasion!
Congratulations to all the winners. The only ones missing from the photo are Supreme Award winners Sir Peter Jackson and Lady Fran Walsh â acknowledged for their significant work establishing New Zealand on the world stage as a top tourist destination, and location of choice for the international film industry.
