Severus Mason Snape has been a pioneering advocate for the rights of sound engineers to continue research into the Dark Arts.

Despite much controversy - his articles on the origins of the goblin kick snare and the use of hippogriff cries in fog horn development have skyrocketed him into Wizarding World All Stars.

No stranger to mixing and with vast stores of underground and classical ingredients in his cabinet, the potions master delivers a 30min concoction of putrid rollers fit to replace the dementors kiss and free every single prisoner of Azkaban.

Full on “Yewhoo Shaka Bra” to to all you noise designers for getting around our Lunchbox Lockdown Challenge. We are grateful to all of you for spending your creative time on this remix fiesta! The pot of New Zealand talent is bubbling to the brim and we are fizzing our heads off to build a platform that celebrates this talent and pushes it to the world. This dream starts with building a community and giving your energy to these projects helps us build baby build!

Without further ado we'd like to announce the winner(s) with a little note from your boy Witters:

"Such a sick jumpy groove, rate how you’ve used mainly samples from the original through the build up and intro then switched to all your own when it drops. Awesome half time section and loads of variation, kept it interesting the whole way through! Legend for doing this mate, such a solid tune well done."

"Kept it short and sweet only just over two minutes but managed to squeeze a lot in there and put a neuro spin on it, was awesome to listen to from start to finish. Sounding huge and very filled out with a clean mix down! Thanks for getting involved bro, you absolutely smashed it."

G'day. We want to say a huge thank you to everyone who entered the first Lunchbox Lockdown Remix Competition. We are amazed by the absolute quality of the submissions, this isn't going to be an easy choice.

We're going to huddle together and argue amongst ourselves overnight and will be announcing the winner at 6pm tomorrow.

Calling all Aotearoa producers! Welcome to The Lunchbox Lockdown Remix Competition!

We want you to download these stems, remix the banger that is Witters' Calibrate, upload it to your Soundcloud and hashtag "LUNCHBOXLOCKDOWN"!

You have until 10pm on the 25th of August to upload your remix. After that Witters and our team will listen through the entries and the best one will be included on the official Witters' Calibrate Remix EP + we will put you on the door for every Lunchbox gig for 2020 (maybe none).
