Heather Thompson

Heather is an incredible mum to her beautiful 8 month old baby boy Oliver! In this episode we talk about having to relocated due to her partner getting a stock managers role in Lumsden, Southland and the struggles of finding friends while becoming a first time mum.

I absolutely loved my chat with Heather it left me feeling inspired and as a stay at home mum myself I could 100% relate to some of the struggles she has, in-fact all of us would of felt these at some stage of our motherhood journey

I thought I better introduce myself! I am Lissie Anglesey (your host of Mums on the Land NZ) I am a stay at home mum married to Blair Anglesey and a mum of 3 children aged 5, 2 and 9 months based just out of Tapawera in the Top of the South!

As we all know rural farm life can be isolating and you often feel alone in your struggles! This is where the idea of a podcast came about, so I could make a small impact in the world where farming mums can understand and realise that they are never alone!

Thank you for joining me here and I can't wait for launch date which will be in just 5 days so keep your eyes peeled!
