Keep reading to cut the stress ✂️

If you want your sanity back in the world of Instagram and your business then creating content pillar are the perfect place to start.

🥱And no, I am not talking just the generic "Inspirational, Educational, Authority" pillars.

Yes, I do use these but I use them as sub-pillars to my main pillars. Eg. One of my content pillars is Simplified Strategy. I will come up with a list of content ideas for this pillar then break those content ideas into sub-pillars of whether it falls under inspirational/educational/authority.

WHAT IS A CONTENT PILLAR
Basically content pillars are key themes in your business that you want to be known for.

HOW TO CREATE THEM
Pick one thing you want to be known for (main topic) then who you want to know that (your ideal client/main audience).
Then decide how you're going to achieve that one thing with your content (main mission).
When you have general ideas start to brainstorm ideas (yes even the silly ones).

MY EXAMPLE
Main Topic: Creating an Instagram Strategy.
Main Audience: Busy small business owners.
Main Mission: To empower busy small business owners with simple effective strategies that maximise their online presence and increase engagement.
Content Pillars: 1. Simplified Strategy | 2. Authentic Connections & Engagement | 3. Sales Psychology & Conversion

If you're completely done feeling overwhelmed by Instagram for your business comment "STRATEGY" below and let's cut the stress.

🚩Are you dating Instagram with green flag energy or red flag energy?

❤️ Red flag energy = being inconsistent which leads the algorithm not to trust you and there for not want to show you off to it's friends when you do show up out of fear you're going to disappear again.

💚 Green flag energy = showing up consistently which leads to the algorithm feeling like they can trust you, which will have them saying "Ok, I like this person, I might show them off to more of my friends."

Translation: When you show up and post consistently on Instagram you are signalling to the algorithm that it can trust you and that your content is worth showing to others as you are going to remain consistent.

Like any good relationship, consistency is key. HOWEVER, consistency is not the only thing that matters.
You can be physically present but if the effort isn't there it means very little.

So, the T&C's for showing up consistently on Instagram is that your content also actually needs to be of quality and value.

If you are only posting for the sake of posting and with little to no value or quality the algorithm will notice that no one is engaging with your content and it will stop pushing it out to as many accounts which will only hurt your account more in the long run (and also be a waste of your time).

No one likes a time-waster in a relationship. 🙅‍♀️

Conclusion: Consistency + Value = Success (🤞)

Let me explain....

👔 Business in the front looks like: Giving a great biz tip, asking a biz question etc.

🪩 Party in the back looks like: "OMG had the most delicious strawberry matcha from ### today! Officially my newest addiction. Hands up my fellow matcha lovers."

What I'm saying is it's ok to getting a little spicy on Threads 🌶️. It's a great place to show a little more of your awesome personality while also creating an engaged community beyond the business (which in turn will only effect your business positively). WIN WIN.
