My new app PlanningPal could be a helpful way to support reluctant writers, or writers who need strong planning and structure to get going with their writing.

The app starts by gathering details around year level, genre and audience. From there, the child is able to record their ideas through speech, or type their ideas into the app. The app will then analyse this and create a plan for their writing.

The plan is in a checklist style, with added features and vocab to help the writer along the way.

Once their first draft is completed, they can type or paste it in for feedback for editing and revising.

An app that may support your classroom culture in T4 that I've been working on is ready for you to have a look at and trial - it's called Classroom Compass.

Check out the images below to see what it looks like, and the demo video in the comments below.

The demo demonstrates the multiple ways that it will enhance your class culture through various circles and meetings, class games and mindfulness, class currency, and class jobs and responsibilities.

I'm looking for some testers to be on the trial team, if you'd like to check the app out in full and have a crack at using in in the early stages of T4, please put 'ae', 'yes' or 👍 in the comments below.

Next cab off the app rank is MarkingMate.
This is an all encompassing marking and assessment app that has three awesome functions:
😀 Student work analysis - upload any photo of your learner's work, and the AI enbgine will analyse it.
👍 Instructional suggestions - insert your teaching focus, year level and break up of the class, and some next steps and teaching ideas will come your way.
🥳 Curriculum tracking - track the teaching and learning in Maths and English as you go about the teaching of the intentions in each area.

My app, Maths Escape Adventures, will support your maths learning as it is able to transform any maths worksheet into an engaging and interesting Escape Room for your learners.

You have the ability to upload worksheets into the app, which will then transform it into an Escape Room with 10 levels. Support is given along the way with the inbuilt support system. This is a web-based app, so perfect for sharing with your students.

Escape the News! A weekly news based quiz for learners to test their knowledge of what's happening in the world. To escape being caught in the mysterious newspaper they were reading, they need to score 1000 points.

The form will be updated weekly in term 3 with a new quiz, with a new 1000 points on the line. Just use the same link each time with your learners.

But wait, there's more. Follow up with a game of 'News or nonsense', where learners read three news items and decide on their validity. Phase 2 kaiako, a maths vocabulary resource that mixes mathematical thinking and exploring, with the fun and silliness of the Taskmaster series.
Each of the vocabulary words within the revised curriculum has an associated task, these could be done in pairs, groups, or as a whole class.

At the Juice Stand, a hybrid activity looking into nutrition and health, but with literacy elements also. Possibly an interesting little STEAM activity for a range of learners to engage with.

Learners read about the ingredients, then see which customers there are and make up a juice to suit their needs.
