In the fourth of our Sony Cine Sessions, we meet Ben Cunningham . Ben has carved out a career as one of the most respected and experienced natural history DOP’s in Australia. More recently he released his astonishing feature film ‘The Pool’ shot on the Sony Venice and an FX3 for stunning underwater imagery.

Almost a year ago, and I were sitting in our favourite carpark (the Southern Motorway) when he said, ‘Hey B, I’ve got an idea for a content series where DOP’s get to tell their stories.’ . Fast forward to today and we are so proud to see the launch of ‘Sony Cine Sessions’. Sony was our first and only choice to partner with on this series and a huge thanks to them for sharing in our vision. First up, the engaging and talented Joe Machart . Based in Sydney, Joe’s story of being ‘accidentally’ discovered by Russell Crowe is truly one of the best stories we have heard since we formed The Story Co. Meet Charlie and Courtney from Taupō. At the age of 19, these two incredible teenagers managed to buy their own home. Now they have their sights set on owning their own PAK'nSAVE. Remarkable!

Meet Anna Howley the inspirational mum from Tauranga. Through determination and hard work, Anna worked her way up the ranks at PAK'nSAVE Cameron Road to become store manager. Under her guidance, PAK’nSAVE Cameron Rd earned ‘Store of the Year’ at the 2024 internal Foodstuffs North Island Co-op Awards. Cheers Anna!!
