TREND TO TRY: A fun (and easy!) social media post idea to try this week. ↓

I love how this trending post can be easily adapted to a range of industries (fashion, interior design, beauty, real estate, and graphic design, to name a few) while also giving you a chance to showcase your personality and the face behind the brand.

All you need is:
✅ A cover photo of yourself
✅ 10 photos (or videos) of your obsessions
✅ A short description on each photo.

If a carousel format isn’t your vibe, you could easily adapt this to a Reel.

🎄 As 2024 draws to a close, I want to thank the businesses and individuals who have supported me this year. 🍸

It’s been a tough year for small businesses, and your support, whether through engaging with my social media content, booking a social media coaching session, or working with me as an ongoing retainer client, has meant the world. Thank you!

I’m officially out of the office for the summer, so I can enjoy newborn snuggles with my new baby, soak up the festive cheer, and refresh ahead of a fantastic 2025. 🌞

I hope you all have a safe and joy-filled Christmas with your loved ones. See you in the New Year!

SEPTEMBER: A few favourite offline and online moments.

1. I wrapped up a successful social media advertising campaign for Snowball Effect to promote their capital raise for Reefton Distilling Co. A highlight was a single $300k Meta advertising conversion. 🎉🥃

2. It was another fantastic month working with the lovely Barrier Air team managing their social media. If you’re planning your New Zealand summer travel, make sure you check out their flight schedule. ✈️

3 & 7. September was a busy writing month, working with several B2B clients on case studies and blog articles. It’s always a joy to get an insight into these talented Kiwi businesses and the impact they’re making. ☕️

4. The start of spring = an afternoon spent on Pinterest creating a new desktop background. 🍒

5. My spring uniform on repeat, oversized graphic tees for the bump. 💙

6. Sharing the first of the strawberries with my toddler. 🍓

8. Savouring every moment of sunshine after a rainy winter. 🌞

9. My toddler’s latest obsession from Daily Bread. 🎀

Hi there, I’m Indiana! A social media and content specialist based in Auckland, New Zealand.

I have more than 10 years of experience working in the marketing and communications industry, specialising in social media and content.

I've worked at some of New Zealand's leading media publishing companies, including Fairfax Media, Bauer Media, and Yahoo New Zealand. I've written for a range of lifestyle magazines and websites, including Good Health & Wellbeing (formerly Good Health Choices), NZ Woman's Weekly, Bride & Groom, TV Guide, and Yahoo New Zealand website. I have a Bachelor of Communications from Auckland University of Technology, with a major in Journalism.

More recently, I've worked as a social media specialist for Bank of New Zealand and Mosh Social Media agency, working with clients including Airbnb, Yale, Love Racing, and Sudima Hotels. During this time I also worked part-time on the side, helping small business owners with their social media needs.
