Globally, on average, 1 man dies by su***de every minute of every day. 6 out of 10 su***des globally, are committed by men.

If these statistics don't alarm you, I don't know what will. I was nearly a statistic. Getting through it was not easy, and by no account am I done healing.

Many men believe there is no way out. No version of life where it will get better. They are wrong, and we all, as slightly less messed up people, have a duty to seek out our suffering brothers and sisters and provide the necessary space, voice and love required to heal.

I believe in the Movember Foundations motive, and actions to help aid in removing the suffering men around the world endure by the torment of mental health. And this year, I will play a minor role in assisting them with their mission.

To do this, I will willingly have an embarrassment of a "Mo" on my face during the month of November. The point is to stand out, look silly, in hopes someone might ask "what were you thinking?" to which I can engage a conversation with them about mental health. But to add urgency, the period of time the Mo stays on my face is determined by the public. The more people support the cause, the longer I look like a fool.

For every accumulated $100 donated to my Mo Space, and for every 50 shares on any of my videos across any platform, I will extend my Mo campaign by another day. I walk the walk as well, and have sponsored the entire first day myself.

It's been a MASSIVE weekend watching Stella compete at the Torian Pro. Stella managed to make podium at her first pro comp and the entire team is extremely proud of her!!

I know she'll be back in the gym gearing up for next year's open sooner rather than later but her hard work and dedication payed off this weekend.

Had the opportunity to work alongside Te Awamutu Sports & Recreation Club Inc and showcase their Te Awamutu Miniball competition for Term 1. This competition has been running for years and provides for our younger generation a platform to compete and develop skills valuable both on and off the court 👏
