1. We pulled off one of our biggest videos for Spark NZ, directed by our very own Taylor Mansfield 👏
2. Had a super successful contractors event to say thank you for an amazing year 🤍

4. Hosted an Aperol fuelled Christmas dinner!! This included way too many hot takes, an A+ effort but B grade ex*****on of charades, and exceptionally wholesome vibes
5. Ran down to the Wonky Box warehouse to shoot some very fresh content 🥦🥕
6. Filmed a new brand video that will be gracing your screens soon!
7. Prepared for our website launch with an extremely chaotic video that actually received over 10K views 👀
8. Introduced our new office cat, and Jacob's second son, Alfie, to the team 🐈

After months of blood, sweat, and tears, our child is finally gracing the internet with its presence, and we are so proud 🥲🥹
It represents our graduation into our big-time agency era while maintaining the playful and colourful ODV energy.

We lied to you... oops
Okay well not intentionally, hear us out for a sec👇
Today we were supposed to share our new explainer video.
The Alpaca reveal was us manifesting an epic launch but sadly, we've hit a little speed bump and we can't release it like we'd hoped. Ah, the joys of marketing.
All this to say, the video IS coming, just not today. And probably not tomorrow. Or the next day. This is just how business goes sometimes, and if you aren't flexible enough to adapt and be transparent with your audience, things can feel a lot more disastrous than they actually are.
We're quite lucky that our audience is used to seeing us relatively unfiltered, as well, and we hope this means you can forgive us for telling you a big fib. 🥺
✨ HOWEVER ✨
We are actually on track for the even BIGGER news that was meant to come as a secondary surprise to our new video, but seeing as we left you high and dry, we figured we may as well clue you on now.
All will be revealed 30/11 (we tentatively promise you that).

Last Friday we hosted our annual ODV contractors event - an evening where we provide drinks, nibbles, and great vibes to say thanks to everything our contractors do for us.
This year has been anything but easy, and we really couldn't have got through without the commitment and support from our team.
Special congrats to our academy award winners, and a huge shoutout to Urbanaut BRewing Co. and Pals for supplying the bevvys! 🥂

The spooky season is behind us, which means Mariah Carey is about to cash in on her yearly check as the Christmas countdown begins 🎅🎄
Before we officially welcome in November, (yes, I'm aware we're a week in already), let's look back on what made October so epic.
1. Jacob learnt that the world, quite literally, revolves around him 🌎
2. We filmed our biggest project to date, and it's amazing
3. Taylor absolutely killed directing his biggest commercial project yet
4. We took a really s**t photo at a really wholesome farewell for Dallas and Freyja
5. Wrangled some Australian wildlife and shot our latest ad for our AU market 🐊
6. After a week of the forecast predicting rain, the sun came out for our shoot with Givealittle
7. WE GOT AN OUTDOOR TABLE - yes, this might not seem worthy of a recap feature. What you have to understand is that we all love the sunshine and this means we can both chill AND work outside effectively (umbrella is on it's way ⛱️)
8. A health and safety nightmare... just kidding it's totally fake but we filmed a wild video in Australia 💥
