Hi peoples, just thought I'd mention that a few months ago I turned 70. 🎂 I'm still very healthy and get out biking and running as much as I can. 🚴‍♂️ Last night I jogged 5kms. 🏃The whole food plant-based diet is still really working! 😁

Dr Luke Wilson:
Luke is a medical doctor who specialises in whole foods plant-based nutrition. He is a certified member of the International Board of Lifestyle Medicine and a Director and NZ ‘Ambassadoc’ for Doctors for Nutrition. Luke founded Two Zesty Bananas with colleague Dr Matthew Hobbs in 2014. Since then he has co-authored The 21st Century Food Course, worked part-time as a general practitioner, and spoken at events in New Zealand, Australia and the USA. In the film you will see Luke’s very successful community-based program referred to, which used a whole foods plant-based diet, that demonstrated significant health improvements, and was published in the Nutrition and Diabetes journal.

Deirdre Kent:
When Deirdre turned 80 she decided she needed a second opinion on her heart problems. Her GP had been just adding more pills and she wondered if there was something else she should know. She went to the Raumati Natural Healing Centre and found Dr Luke Wilson! During the consultation he referred her to Dr Caldwell Esselstyn who had reversed heart disease with diet. That was all she needed. She went home, did massive research and changed her diet to whole food plant-based. She is now only one mild pill for blood pressure and no longer worries about her heart. What's more she loves her food now!

Sally Faisandier:
Sally was shocked to get breast cancer at 58 years of age, because she thought she had a healthy lifestyle. However, when she started researching, and looking for reasons why she had ended up with cancer – and what she could do to stop it coming back again – she learned that diet could play a big part in improving her health. She is now keen to share her story with others!

The panel will speak after the film for 5-10 minutes per person, and then we will open up the floor to questions.

This is wrong on so many levels ... giving pork to food banks & people who already suffer from poor diet, killing harmless animals, encouraging an industry that should be winding down .. the only positive thought is to ban the 62% of imports to protect us from viruses & to increase the price.

With thousands of pigs unable to go to market, the Government is stepping in.

Here's another reason to be careful about believing Big-pharma's views on product safety and efficacy ... eat well and avoid the need for medication.

The company says demand has declined "fueled by misinformation around the safety of the product and a constant barrage of litigation advertising." Lawsuits allege that the powder causes cancer.
