This is a public service announcement for anyone who lives near Ballarat in Victoria. If you have any involvement in Aviation then keep a lookout for any toerag trying to flog off equipment stolen from the Blackhawk crew there. Post from one of our friends.

"There are some ***** lowlife scumbags in this world.
The Blackhawk engineers arrived for work today at the Ballarat airport to find that their trailer had been broken into and essential tools stolen.
Stealing equipment used to maintain an essential firefighting aircraft that protects our community and firefighters must be one of the lowest acts I have come across in a long time, it makes me sick.
This is the last thing needed with the current fire emergency and forecast weather this Thursday.
Obviously it has been reported to police, but if anyone hears anything make sure you call crime stoppers.
To the engineers who had their gear stolen and are guests in our country here helping out our communities, I apologise that this happened to you in our town, we are better than this.
These farqking thieving arse hats are a minority and should be caught and flogged.

As we close out 2024, Timberline Helicopters is thrilled to announce an incredible opportunity for the new year. We are launching a Military Transition and Local Job Program designed for individuals passionate about the aviation industry. Whether you’re a local looking to enter the field without the high cost of trade school, a veteran transitioning from the military, or someone eager to make a career change, this program is for you!

Under the leadership of Tyson Davis, our President and Accountable Manager, Timberline Helicopters’ FAA-approved Part 145 repair station is committed to growing the industry and our community.

Today, we had the pleasure of hosting Caleb in our hangar, where he met Tyson and toured our facilities, getting a firsthand look at our ongoing projects. Thanks for stopping by, Caleb, it was wonderful to meet you!

This hands-on, on-the-job training program will allow participants to work in our repair station, gain valuable experience, and work towards earning a repairman certificate and eventually an airframe and powerplant (A&P) certificate.

If you’re passionate about helicopters and want to work alongside some of the best trainers and professionals in the aviation industry, we’d love to hear from you!

Thoughts are with everyone at CBP Air and Marine Operations after the loss of Air Interdiction Agent Jeffrey Kanas. He tragically lost his life in the line of duty on Monday, December 16, 2024. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends and colleagues during this incredibly difficult time. 😔
