Hirap magpanggap na okay ka pa rin. Pero deep inside, parang gusto mo na lang mag-let go ng lahat. Hindi mo na ramdam ang dating excitement na ibigay ang buong sarili para sa iba. You slowly lose the energy to care and the will to stay. It's not about being selfish; it's about protecting what little peace is left in you. Kung minsan, ang paglayo ay hindi dahil galit ka—it's simply because you're choosing yourself for once.

Sa dulo, you realize that walking away doesn’t mean you love them any less. Mahal mo pa rin sila, pero mas mahal mo na ngayon ang sarili mo.
