Here is the first teaser trailer for my upcoming film. I am still learning how to use the editing software but this is a good introduction to the project. I will get another trailer out in a month or so and the film will be out in May.

A good Christmas present idea for the would-be writers out there. This is a project I have been working on for a little while where I share what I have learned about writing and publishing. If you want to do what I do then you can, it's not as difficult as you might think. If you want to write a book then do it, this booklet and myself will help you along your way 😎

The next big project is the the documentary film on the marines and the memorial. Its taken a lot of planning but I have produced my first script. Main shooting will start soon! 🙂

Wairarapa played its part in the Wellington Heritage Festival this year, I was involved with four events, it was brilliant and I met lots of new people. here's to next year!

For those that want to do what I do, you can. I am putting together a short beginners guide to writing and publishing and everything in between. I now feel confident that I can share my 10 years experience in the writing and publishing world. Ever fancied writing your memoirs? A novel? A history book? You can and I will share everything I have learned to show you how to do it. Its just 16 pages so it wont get into too much detail but it will set you on the path to doing your own works and of course I will be happy to help you if you need some extra pointers. All going well this will be out before Christmas! 🙂

The memorial is installed. It's been a long journey but its almost done. Once it has had its last polish and its coats of lacquer I will post a proper picture, for now here's a teaser if its shadow 🙂
Now all will know and all will remember the USMC that stayed here.

There is now half a memorial in place at the Solway Showgrounds Masterton A & P Association there is still a bit to go, its looking a bit rough so if you are heading that way maybe wait a couple of weeks until the unveiling when it will be finished. It was a hard job, the two bottom parts were very heavy but with some Kiwi ingenuity and tapping into my knowledge of how the ancient Egyptians did it they are now in place. Concreting happens today and next week we install the last two components and after that its just a bit of finishing in prep for the unveiling. Getting close now!
