New start

Well after just over a year of work, tomorrow will be my first shift. Night shift which is great. I sleep really well during the day. Actually, I sleep really well most any time.

Having to sort a new lunch/dinner bag and finding all the bits I used to take with me.

Plus trying to take food with me as I am trying to be good and not eat junk. I have made a couple meals but they didn't really work out. Never mind, it will be one of those, its food days and just eat because I need to.

I have been really enjoying the peace and quiet of the country so not going out much to get too tempted.

Health and Wealth

I live in a toxic free home; You can too

I enjoy sterilizing counters, tables, benches and my bathroom with 2.5pH acidic water that I have found extremely effective and doesn’t leave potent smells or chemicals in my atmosphere.

I enjoy doing my washing with nothing more than adding 2 litres of 11.5 pH water to my washing machine, which softens materials and is strong enough to dissolve and draw out substances leaving clothes fresh and clean. Just imagine how clean your washing machine will be with no soap going through it!

I use 8.5 to 9.5 pH water to give me more flavour in my cooking and to aid in balancing my body against the strong acidic effects of some of our everyday foods.

I also drink 9.5pH water. I find it tastes so much better than tap water. I can drink a lot more water to hydrate my body properly and not feel bloated like I do when I drink straight tap water from either a council supply or tank water.

I use 11.5pH to also wash my fruit and vegetables. I love seeing the change in the colour of the water when soaking these foods for 10 minutes. I can only imagine what is coming of the food I intend to eat.

I use 6pH water to clean and tone my face instead of a chemical-based astringent.

How???

I have a Japanese, Medical Grade, Water Ionizer. This ionizer is made in such a way that when your normal tap water is run through the machine and over its 8 platinum plated titanium plates it is electrolyzed making it rich in Hydrogen (H2), otherwise known as Kangen Water

As a bonus I have taken up the opportunity to work as an affiliate with this company. I can work as fast or slow as I like, I get to collaborate with and be part of a wonderful community of like-minded people and get a lot of joy out of learning how to use computers and social media in ways that 6 months ago I wouldn’t have been able to do.

Curious???

DM me and I would love to chat about using a sustainable, eco-friendly, zero waste product that lasts well over 20 years and offers you a non-toxic home environment.

As an added bonus I am utilizing the business opportunity offered, using an affiliate marketing option to promote these high-quality, environmentally friendly products.

For no reason whatsoever

I was scrolling on Facebook and found this absolutely gorgeous photo, so copied it for you all to share.

I love both children and animals and this one says it all.

Gratitude

I like to live in Gratitude as much as possible.

For all good things that come your way, give gratitude

Even when things don't seem to go your way, give gratitude as you will probably never know what not getting your way has saved you from or prevented you from experiencing.

Sorting my accommodation

As I don't have a wardrobe here, I decided to go out and get something to see me through for whilst I am here.

I went to Mitre 10 to purchase one of those wire racks that you put together and the man there was great and suggested i get one with shelves in it as it would be more stable.

So, got it home, unpacked it and looked at the plans and the pipes and the racks. Scratched my head a bit, took a few wrong turns but with a bit of time but I worked it out. By myself.

Pretty impressed, even if I do say so myself.

How much water?

"Every twenty-four hours the body recycles the equivalent of forty thousand glasses of water to maintain its normal physiological functions.

It does this every day of its life.

Within this pattern of water metabolism and its recycling process, and depending on environmental conditions, the body becomes short of about six to ten glasses of water each day.

This deficit has to be supplied to the body every day"!!

You're not sick, you're thirsty

For the past couple of weeks, I have been reading this book.

I have been blown away by how dehydration affects your health in so many ways, plus how we are generally unaware of our body asking for water.

I personally promote Kangen water, the healthiest living water available, and generally do not drink anything else if I can help it.

However, it is better to drink any water available, rather than any other fluid, and in doing so you can ease an amazing number of medical conditions.

This is one book that I would recommend to each and every person I know, written by a man who has studied this subject for more than 20 years.

I have learnt so much from this book about health and the necessity of water. I have even ordered a couple more copies so that I can pass it around.

New interim home.

I spent today moving into my new in-between accommodation.

Back to relative peace and quiet in a rural setting.

Naturally the place is upside down with stuff everywhere, but I have found all the bedding and made the bed and slowly sorting things out.

I think I have done enough today and planning to have an early night and face it all tomorrow.

One step at a time, with no matter what it is, and slowly but surely, we will get there.

Sun setting over the countryside. Bliss.

Busy day today

Spent the morning cleaning my wee flat in Snells Beach and packing the car and a visit to one of my sisters who was local.

Then off to another of my sisters for dinner and to stay the night.

Heading down to Gordonton, local to Hamilton in the Waikato for my next accommodation for a few months.

Still waiting to hear on a contract for a job that I am supposed to be starting in another week but will jump that hurdle when and if I have to.

For now, it is tools down and time to relax for the evening.

Driving home from a friend's house this evening I saw this huge moon. I quickly stopped to take a photo but it just didn't do it justice.

I carried on home and went past the beach down the road and took this photo with the moon shining its light down on Snells Beach.

Don't we live in a beautiful world.

Whilst this beauty doesn't fix the hard parts of life, it really does make me so grateful for what I do have.

Why is nothing ever straight forward!!

Phoned the surgeons office today to let them know to fax the Medical Certificate to me to make the process quicker.

Sure, no problem, but the surgeon is away till the end of the month!!

So now hoping a local GP who doesn't know me or any of my history is hopefully going to sign a certificate for me.

Sometimes, I am so over being okay with everything, knowing it will all work out for the best in the end and reminding myself to always be positive and have patience!!!

Next step is so close

For those who don't know, my usual job is as a support worker to clients with high needs, usually tetraplegic. After having a year away from work I am heading back at the end of October.

Doing what I do, I am so very grateful for my health and my ability to get up and go and do whatever I do.

Had a lovely day today traveling in rural Waikato to go and meet the clients I will be working with. Lovely people and I am looking forward to being of assistance once again.

I took a photo of the Huntly Power Station from the back. I hadn't been out that way before and was fascinated on seeing it from a different point of view.

The Waikato is a farming area with excellent soil and home to Dairy Cows, Sheep and quite a few racing stables for horses.

You just cannot beat New Zealand for its scenery.

Heading down to the Waikato to meet some clients tomorrow so thought I would stay with one of my sisters in Auckland.

I now have a decent radio/stereo in the car and spend my travel time listening to various podcasts. These are wonderful company, and I generally learn a thing or two from them.

There was an incident on the motorway which I was alerted to before I left home so being wise took the alternate route.

Well, my route was so alternate that I managed to take 2 hours to get to my destination and on my travels visited a number of suburbs I didn't need to visit.

Eventually, I put the GPS on which showed me that Western Springs was way of track, and then took me the right way to get to my final destination.

God is watching over me

Having sorted a job in the Waikato, the scramble was to find a rental to live in for a wee while.

I had been told about one and was heading down there Friday to have a look. However, I got a text Thursday afternoon to say the place had already been let.

So, time to panic. Look at finding a different job within driving distance of where I live??? I looked at a couple of possibilities but decided to just go home and start looking for alternative accommodation.

I jumped on the computer and one on trade me caught my eye, in a reasonable area at a reasonable price so I rang, spoke to the owner and decided to head straight down to have a look.

A lovely property amongst 3 acres of garden. Talked to the owner, who also lives on the property, and took it on the spot. Paid the first weeks rent and no bond needed. So, so grateful.

I have been praying for the right home at the right price in the right area as well as a job to go to so that I can get back on my feet.

So, prayers answered, once again.
