Kia ora, I’m Kelli Pike, a community advocate and podcaster living in Kirikiriroa, Hamilton. Kelli from the Tron - The Podcast, encourages active citizenship with local news, views, events and music. Most days you’ll find me at Go Eco Waikato, with a team of social and environmental change-makers, or trawling op-shops for 1960’s homewares.
A couple of years ago I founded Politics in the Tron, a movement to get more Hamiltonians involved in local politics. More specifically we sought to improve representation in our elected councils. Finally, I’m an Event organiser for the Waikato Mid-Winter Retro Fair and Pechakucha Hamilton events. Current advocacy is for the Living Wage movement and the Vote STV for Hamilton campaign.
