turned that pain into passion had to turn the s**t around
i faced a few adversities and they kicked me when i was down
hard times merely chapters in a saga that won't fail
the canvas in a life of strife violence and war tales

i danced in the rain a storm of my own making
turned pain into poetry hopefully we relating
from the ashes of the madness i ascended like the sun
built different through this journey the man that i become

is the blessing i'm humbled the devil could not take me

i used to stumble in the shadows lost and blinded by the struggle.."
almost crumbled in them battles.. always found my self in trouble.."
an energetic youngin, falsely blinded by that pride and ego.."
now it times to try evolve and find my self i'm free amigo.."

no more drowning in my pasts abyss.!
those past mistakes are faded.."
even if those shattered pieces mended.. still safe to say i'm jaded
from those times i walked that darker road
my light was slightly shaded.."
i had to find my reason why was no easy ride i hated it.."

i survived all the major storms the cornerstone of pain is growth.."
i had to get uncomfortable to understand there's Gain in both..

growing up lacking had me mad at the world bro
aggreesive young juvenile here to let the world know
labled as the bad kid".. mad i never had s**t "
at home getting blamed for all the bad s**t my dad did"

and that is..." the reason why i went the way i went ...
at school acting out... was my only way to vent
i was trapped and confused, attacked and abused
and the map that i used never mapped to the truth

so i started smoking w**d.." at the bros down hoani .
every week end.." pi**ed freestyling at the parties
trying to escape all the madness that's apart of me
drug abuse and music was really just the start for me..

i can't believe i had to be so dam grimey "
but its middle fingers up i put the whole world behind me"
and when i rest my head i want to wake and see a new day "
elevate to make a change i hope it ain't too late."

with every verse and melody i leave behind the burdens
i leave behind the fears and the tears from those i hurt
i chase to find clarity become a better person
become a better role model for those who know my worth

i sat down with my anxieties and gathered up the courage
worked on my entirety and changed the way i act to others
shared a piece of me and all the mental health i battled with
treat each other with compassion and together we can handle this
