This Sunday night on the Talk Sessions we discuss: is partying part of your church culture and who are you inviting to the feast?
Michael Rhodes is an Old Testament Theologian at Carey Baptist College who lives among poorer communities he has a deep passion for what God has encouraged us to do for the poor and that includes feasting!
Matthew 22. Then he said to his servants, ‘The wedding banquet is ready, but those I invited did not deserve to come.
So go to the street corners and invite to the banquet anyone you find.’ So the servants went out into the streets and gathered all the people they could find, the bad as well as the good, and the wedding hall was filled with guests.

Our second topic in The Talk Sessions this Sunday with John Peachey at 7pm - 9pm:
We have guest interview with Dr. Tony Fernando, Consultant Psychiatrist and Sleep specialist.
Compassion in Medicine and Compassion Fatigue.
In 2015, the NZMA presents its highest award, the NZMA Chair’s Award, to Dr. Tony Fernando, psychiatrist, sleep specialist and educator.
“Dr. Fernando has shown great leadership and initiative in focusing a major part of his career
on caring for the carer, and in living the values of the medical professional,” says NZMA Chair
Dr Stephen Child. “His inspirational talks to medical students and many groups around New
Zealand have improved the happiness of both patients and carers, and have had an immeasurable positive impact on the health of all New Zealanders.”
Who loves the lovers of people?
Who cares for the carers?
Are we support those who are currently doing the hard yards?
How so you support your pastor and your leaders who are facing huge criticism and huge pressure to give us care and solutions to our current crisis?
What does the bible say about leadership and criticism?
What are you doing to love on your leaders?
Are we in the kindness business?

At 25 Queen Elizabeth II dedicated her life to a life of service and her faith has seen her stay the course, reaching the incredible milestone of 70 years as Great Britain's longest-reigning monarch. Today we live in a very entitled age where the word serve may have lost its significance.
So what does it mean to you to serve?
Jesus clearly stated that he didn't come to be served, but to serve...so where does that leave us today, are we a serving people?
To who, for what?
Join John Peachey from 7-9pm this Sunday evening on The Talk Sessions as we discuss service in an age of entitlement and personal rights.

The Talk Sessions returns for 2022 with new host John Peachey, tackling current affairs from a Christian perspective and for the first show back we're tackling modern persecution:
Ben Kepes is a Cantabrian, kiwi business entrepreneur and a first generation son of Holocaust survivor parents. As a practitioner of Jewish faith, he recently gave an address at the United Nations commemorating the 77th anniversary of the Holocaust tragedy.
But what Ben’s parents and grandparents experienced is being crudely compared to the current COVID crisis. The talk is of comparing the NZ and other nations Government responses and of fascism and N**I behaviour.
Is this an insult to the Jewish people?
Do we really believe the church is being persecuted?
Are you convinced your freedoms have been stolen?
