Welcome to The New School; where boring test shoots don’t exist and models are wonderfully diverse individuals, rather than cookie-cutter, walking clothes hangers.
We represent and present a new era of models; ones who don't conform to previous industry standards that included height, size/measurements or other biased requirements. Our models are all energy, personality, and beauty - in every unique shape, size and race.
When we work with new models, we want to learn about WHO they are, not just what they look like. This in-house campaign featuring several models from NOIR The Agency allowed us to do just that.

As the owner and founder of Aotearoa’s first Black-owned model & talent agency; I am so proud and in awe of the body of talent we represent and the amazing clients we are working with.
At NOIR The Agency we know what it means to have lived in a world where media did not always include diverse people. A world where trying to break into the fashion and film industries was not always possible for minorities or diverse people; especially without familial connections in those industries. However with our incredibly hard working talent and clients; we continue to improve and increase representation of all people in media.
This has led to us working in 23 incredible television, film, commercial productions and brands in 2022.
Thank you to everyone who has supported us and been involved in our growth this year, we look forward to your continued support.

It's Mental Health Awareness Week and to help raise awareness from a fashion perspective we have partnered up with Le Va and The Otara Kai Village to run our 4th and final "Get Your Style On!" programme.
If you love fashion, you're all about freedom of expression through your style, love being amongst other fashion enthusiasts - this event is for YOU!
We're going to set up our Walk in Wardrobe in the OKV space and will be having friendly styling challenges.
The event is for our youth however we know others might want to participate in it so we're opening it up to everyone who will be at the Otara Shopping Centre this weekend to come and have a try.
We've got some professional models who will be showcasing our stylists' ensembles and judges are Sammy Salsa, Jane Treseder and myself.
So come on down "this Saturday", get yourself a DIC/LeVa tshirt, some free kai and you might walk away with some cool prizes from Pacific/Maori fashion designers!

We recently conducted an in-house campaign featuring 10 of our incredible models here at NOIR The Agency.
We wanted our models to look incredible whilst diving beneath the surface to explore what stops us from realising our goals and dreams. We spoke with our models about what freedom means to them and the art of letting things go; in order to live their most authentic selves.
This campaign was brought to life by a team of seven creative Black Women. Our Founder Chichi Nyangoni, wants to promote Black Women working in the creative sector here in Aotearoa.
