Supa Deurali is Located in the Arghakhanchi District, in the western part of Nepal, the Supa Deurali is a mountain temple at an elevation of 1.509m above the sea level.

The road to the temple is called Gorusinge-Sandhikharka road. Its surface is asphalted but it’s difficult and it’s a nightmare in the wet or dark (or both). There is little room for error on this road. Don’t stuff your belly too much. Eventually, you might feel vomiting temptations while climbing circuitous roads at higher altitudes. The road has asphalt and gravel surface and links Gorusinge, at an elevation of 128m above the sea level, and Sandhikharka, at 965m. Words can’t describe the road and pictures don’t do it justice. It’s obstructed periodically due to landslides triggered by incessant rainfalls.
Supa Derail Temple (Supa Deural Mandir) is a Hindu temple dedicated to Devi which is situated in the town of arghakhanchi district, sandhikharka municipality in province no.5, Nepal. It is one of the famous pilgrimage sites of western Nepal surrounded by magnificent hills. This place is worth a visit for pilgrimage purpose as well as sightseeing a panoramic view.

Supa Deurali is connected with a myth story of a Lahure “the soldier in Indian army”. It is believed that when he was going to India he worship in the temple and vowed to the deity that if he returns safely he will offer a golden chain to the temple. He was successful in his mission but while returning back home he ignores and passes the way secretly. The miraculous power of Supadeurali brought him in the temple and set the Lahure affixed at the middle of rock to be a statue. The statue of laura can still be visible in the rock near the temple. The importance of the significance of the devotees that can be seen here is increasing every day.

The deity has not only fulfilled the wish of many devotees but also it has been a boon for many children who are receiving education as the blessing of the deity.

आज हरिशयनी एकादशी, घरघरमा तुलसीको बिरुवा सारिँदै । भगवान् विष्णु चार महिनाका लागि जल शयनीमा रहने शास्त्रीय मान्यताअनुसार तुलसी रोपण गरेर व्रत बसेर यो पर्व मनाइँदैछ।

एक महिना अघि जेठ शुक्ल एकादशी (निर्जला एकादशी)का दिन छरिएको बिउ तयार भएर आजको दिन रोपण गरिन्छ। यसरी घरको आँगनमा रोपिएको तुलसीलाई विष्णु भगवान्‍को अवतारका रूपमा पूजा गर्ने चलन छ। यो दिन जान्नेले पानी रोटी खान्छन् भनिन्छ ।

यहाँहरुलाई पनि तुलसीको बोट आवश्यक परेमा सम्झन सक्नुहुन्छ । तुलसी जडीबुटीको रूपमा समेत प्रयोग हुने हुँदा यसका अनेकन फाइदा छन् । हरेक दिन जसो तुलसीको पात तातो पानीमा राखेर पिउँदा यसले रगत सफा राख्ने साथै अन्य विभिन्न रोगहरू निको पनि पर्दछ ।
