Rover Md. Borhan Hossain, who dedicated himself to the country and humanity, we have the memory of all his good works. In recognition of his good work, he received the "National Service Award" from the Bangladesh Scouts.
Since 2017, RPI Rover Group and Rangpur District Rover's have led various relief operations by him. on 21 August 2020, while going to distribute relief in Gaibandha by boat on Brahmaputra river suddenly he fall down from the boat into the Brahmaputra and went missing. Rover Borhan Hossain is not among us, he has all the good work. He will live on as an inspiration among us who sacrifices his life for good work. May Almighty Allah reward him well and give his soul peace.

২০১৭ সাল থেকে রপই রোভার গ্রুপ ও রংপুর জেলা রোভারের বিভিন্ন সময়ের ত্রাণ কার্যক্রমের নেতৃত্ব দিয়েছে এবং ২১ আগষ্ট ২০২০ ইং গাইবান্ধায় নদী পথে ত্রাণ বিতরণ করতে যাওয়ার সময় নৌকা থেকে ব্রহ্মপুত্রনদে পড়ে গিয়ে আজ আবধি নিখোজ। রোভার বোরহান হোসেন আমাদের মাঝে নেই রয়েছে তার সব ভাল কাজ। সে জীবিত থাকবে আমাদের মাঝে ভালো কাজের জন্য জীবন উৎসর্গকারী এক অনুপ্রেরণা হিসেবে। রাব্বুল আলামিন তাকে উত্তম প্রতিদান প্রদান করুক ।

Hi! How have you been everyone?

Today I had an online meeting with Sir,Dikpal Baidya, who I become friends with me the other day.
The great senior was active in Nepal and India, then received his PhD from a Japanese university and now in Toronto, Canada. He plans to participate in the WSJ in 2023. Above all, he is very very well!!
I felt the power and experience of the legend, and it was a plus for me to study my scouting activities. I want more and more influence like this.

Everyone, let's have great hope for scouting after the corona is over!

नेपाल स्काउटसंग आबद्ध भई विगत २५ बर्षदेखि स्काउटिंग क्रियाकलापमा सलंग्न रहेको कुरा स्काउटसंग सम्बन्धित व्यक्तिहरुलाई जानकारी नै छ । २०६८ सालदेखि स्काउट शुद्धिकरण गर्ने अभियानमा संग्लन भै २०७१ सालमा २१ दिने आमरण अनसनसम्म बस्नु पर्ने अवस्था सृजना भएको थियो । स्काउटको आधारभूत सिद्धान्त र स्काउटिंगको मर्म र धर्म पालना गर्ने शिक्षा सुरुकै दिनदेखी अग्रज स्काउट मास्टरहरु बाट प्राप्त गर्दै आएको हुँ । यसर्थ स्काउटमा आधारभूत सिद्धान्त, मूल्य, मान्यता तथा मर्म विपरित हुने क्रियाकलापमा मेरो विमति थियो र सदैव विमती रहने छ ।

स्काउटको ऐन तथा विश्व स्काउटको संगठनको आधारभुत सिद्धान्तमा उल्लेखित रहेको गैह् राजनैतिक र स्वेछिक संगठनको अवधराणालाई हरेक स्काउटर, स्काउट तथा संग्लन सम्पूर्णले अक्षेरस पालन गर्नु अनिवार्य छ । मिति २०७७ कार्तिक ६ गते नेपाल स्काउटको अधिकारिक फेसबुक पेजको माध्यमबाट नेपाल स्काउटको विज्ञप्ति मार्फत आफु बागमती प्रदेशको तदर्थ समिति सदस्यमा मनोनित भएको जानकारी पाए पश्चात नेपाल स्काउटले आफ्नो योगदानको कदर गरेको हुन सक्ने लागेको थियो । तर, मिति २०७७ कार्तिक २७ गते न्युज २४ को “सिधा कुरा जनतासंग” भन्ने कार्यक्रममा प्रसारित स्काउटसंग सम्बन्धित सामग्रीमा राष्ट्रिय तदर्थ समितिका संयोजकज्यू ले दिनुभएको अभिव्यक्ति विवादास्पद तथा गैह् जिम्वेवार पूर्ण रहेको छ । विगतमा गैह् राजनैतिक संगठनको छवि बनाउँन सफल नेपाल स्काउटलाई अमुक पार्टीको भर्ति केन्द्रको रुपमा स्थापित गराउन चाहेको स्वीकारोक्ति स्वयं संयोजक ज्यूले गरि सकेको अवस्थामा उक्त प्रदेश तदर्थ समितिको सदस्यको हैसियतले सो ठाउँमा बसी राख्न मेरो नैतिकताले नदिने हुँदा यसै बिज्ञप्ति मार्फत राजिनामा दिएको जानकारी गराउँदछु ।

आगामी दिनमा पनि विगतमा जस्तै स्काउटमा सकारात्मक परिवर्तनका लागि सदैव लागि रहने र लडि रहने प्रतिबद्धता समेत जाहेर गर्दछु । जय स्काउट ।

Navigation Using a Map and a Compass

1. Place your compass on the area map with the Base Plate edge connecting your location with the destination.

2. Set the compass heading by turning the compass Dial until the “N” on your compass aligns with Magnetic North (MN) on the map.

3. Remove the compass from the map and hold it level in front of you with the Direction of Travel Arrow pointing straight ahead.

4. Turn your body until the red end of the Needle is directly over the Orienting Arrow, pointing to the “N” on the dial.

5. The Direction of Travel Arrow now points precisely to your destination. Look up, sight on a landmark and walk to it. Repeat this procedure until you reach your destination.

A statue of the man who founded the Scouts movement is to be removed from Poole Quay amid fears it is on a "target list for attack".

Following police information, the 12-year-old statue of Robert Baden-Powell is to be "temporarily" removed to protect it, Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole (BCP) Council said.

The statue will have 24-hour security protection until it can be removed.

Protesters gathered at the quayside to show support for the statue.

Baden-Powell, who died aged 83 in 1941, has been criticised by campaigners who have accused him of racism, homophobia and support for Adolf Hi**er.

In a statement, BCP deputy leader Mark Howell said it had made the decision "quickly" following the listing of the statue on a website detailing potential targets for attacks.

He said it would not be removed immediately as its foundations were deeper than first thought, but in the meantime it would be given 24-hour security protection.

"We know that local people feel proud of Lord Baden-Powell's and the Scout movement's links with Poole, and that some people feel that we would be giving in to the protesters by temporarily removing the statue. However, we feel it is responsible to protect it for future generations to enjoy and respect.

He insisted any removal would be temporary and it would be returned "as soon as the threat level subsides".

The authority previously said it recognised some aspects of Baden-Powell's life were considered "less worthy of commemoration" and it planned to involve all relevant communities and groups in discussions about its future.

Former Bournemouth East Labour parliamentary candidate Corrie Drew, said: "We can commemorate the positive work without commemorating the man."

Speaking on BBC Breakfast, she added: "A quick look into his history shows that he was very open about his views against homosexuality and that he was a very open supporter of Hi**er and of fascism and quite a strong, outspoken racist."

'Error of judgment'
Meanwhile, an online petition to "defend Poole's Lord Baden-Powell statue" has received more than 15,000 signatures.

Sir Robert Syms, Conservative MP for Poole, tweeted that he was "opposed" to the permanent removal of the statue.

Writing on Twitter, Tobias Ellwood, Tory MP for Bournemouth East, said: "Few historical figures comply with 21st C values. Simply expunging past connections from sight won't correct wrongs or help us better learn from our past."

The Tory MP for Bournemouth West, Conor Burns, also tweeted that the removal was "a huge error of judgment" and urged authorities to "put it back".

Bear Grylls has been named as the youngest ever Chief Scout. The 34-year-old said he wanted to encourage more adults to volunteer so the 33,000 youngsters on waiting lists could join Scout groups. Grylls has presented TV programmes such as Man vs Wild and Born Survivor.)

Bear Grylls was talking to Jo Whiley on her Radio 1 show

*Why should people be scouts these days?
It's just a great chance for kids to get out there, follow their
dreams and grab life and go for a bit of an adventure.
Scouts provide a great framework to kids to find that in a
good, safe, fun environment.

*Were you ever a scout?
I was, when I was about eight. I remember turning up on
day one as a scout and I was told, 'Here's one match and
one sausage. Now cook it'. And I was thinking, 'There's no
way this is going to last long'. Then they taught us how to
build a fire. I get so many kids coming up to me now and
they say, 'How can I learn to do some of the stuff you do on
Born Survivor?' And the truth is, the basis came from
scouting.

*Do you know the scout's promise?
I'm learning it. I'm learning it. I had it dropped on my head
so many times as a child. But I'm only on day one of the
job. All I know is I want to have loads of fun with loads of
scouts.

*How many badges did you have when you were a scout? What badges did you get?
I was actually quite a bad scout, is the truth. I think if
somebody had told me when I was aged eight or a scout
leader that I'd end up as Chief Scout, they probably would
have fallen over laughing. But I was a kid with not a huge
amount of confidence and it gave me that confidence that I
could go for these things. Life's a journey. We build up bit
by bit.

*Did you ever cheat to get any of your badges?
No. But do you know what? There are so many badges
kids can get nowadays. There are like 200, from rafting to
snowboarding to rock climbing, paragliding, even cooking,
photography. So it's amazing. I'm super proud.

*What kind of music are you into?
You've given
