Inspiring Lady Farmer: She is Devi Dahal of Shiva Satakshi Municipality, Jhapa who earns more than 30 Lakhs a year from Bee keeping ( माहुरी पालन ). She started this business 17-18 years ago with the investment of only Rs. 1100. Starting from 2 bee hives (घारी), now she have around 900 hives, she aims to produce around 10,000 KGs of Honey. She says," It was a difficult time back then when i had to do housekeeping work but bees changed my life and now I make 30 lakhs+ working from home." ❤️

President Donald Trump is now permanently suspended from Twitter and suspended indefinitely from Facebook, Instagram and Snapchat !!

Ps:Mr Trump was locked out of his account for 12 hours on Wednesday after he called the people who stormed the US Capitol "patriots".

The ensuing violence led to the deaths of four civilians and a police officer.

Twitter warned then that it would ban Mr Trump "permanently" if he breached the platform's rules again.

An elephant has died due to electric shock in Khadak Municipality-4 of Saptari district.
According to the Division Forest Office, the male elephant died due to electric shock in the electric wire laid by the locals to chase away the elephants at night.

वैशाख १७ र २७ गते दुई चरणमा हुने प्रतिनिधि सभा निर्वाचनको लागि नेपाल प्रहरीले निर्वाचन केन्द्रित सुरक्षा व्यवस्थालाई उच्च प्राथमिकतामा राखी उपलब्ध जनशक्ति एवं स्रोतसाधन अधिकतम परिचालन गर्ने गरी ‘निर्वाचन सुरक्षा रणनीति तथा योजना’ बनाउने कार्य भइरहेको जनाएको छ ।

दुई चरणको निर्वाचनमा कम्तीमा १० हजार #प्रहरी मतदान स्थलमा खटिने छन् ।त्यस्तै मतदान टोली र मतदान स्थलको शान्ति सुरक्षाका लागि प्रहरीसँगै करिब 98,200 #म्यादीसुरक्षाकर्मी भर्ना गरिने प्रहरीले जनाएको छ । कार्यालय कुरुवाबाहेक ६५ हजार प्रहरी निर्वाचन सुरक्षामा परिचालन हुनेछ्न।

Finally, Janakpur-Jayanagar railway service is expected to start within few months. The train service was delayed due to the lack of skilled manpower. In Nrs. 70 people can travel from Jayanagar to Kurtha (35km) in general class while AC cabin will cost Rs.300. Cost for each kilometer will add by 15 rupees in general class while for AC class it will be 5 times higher.

He is Santa Kumar Das, covid coordinator of Teaching Hospital, Maharajgunj who has not taken a single holiday in the last 8 months . He says he spent his Dashain crying with his 70 year old mother on the phone. According to him even the health workers were first afraid to make covid ward in teaching hospital and did not provide necessary support when required. He said how every day has been a struggle at the hospital due to internal matters and high number of patients but not enough facilities to give them. But he says, he managed by taking double dose of blood pressure medicine and praised all the health workers who are working consistently without receiving the promised risk allowance and even when their house-owners asked them to leave their flats. He says all the health workers of the ward will need mental health treatment after the end of this situation.

Indian and Nepali side both have agreed to step up efforts to advance mutual cooperation & relationship between two countries, in a meet between Indian Foreign Secretary Harsh Vardhan Shringla with top Nepali officials yesterday.

Nepal Government has also also urged Indian side to resolve border issues through bilateral talks and dialogue on the basis of historical documents and evidence. 🇳🇵❤️🇮🇳

२०७७ बैशाख १ गते देखि मंसिर १२ गते सम्म ४८३ जनाको मृत्यु : 483 people have lost their lives due to Natural disasters this year already in Nepal. More than 1 Arba worth of property have been damaged in 2,395 Natural incidents. 101 people are missing, 858 were injured and 2,412 cattles were dead.

The death due to landslide has been highest for this year with 301 deaths.

Kathmandu Valley records 301 new infections, highest for a single day so far, according to the Health Ministry.
Nepal’s Covid-19 toll reaches 175 with 11 more deaths; 885 new infections take tally to 34,418

Nepal reported 11 more Covid-19-related deaths on Wednesday, taking the toll to 175. Meanwhile, 885 new cases, 301 of them in Kathmandu Valley, were reported in the past 24 hours, taking the national tally to 34,418.

The health ministry said that nine men and two women died due to Covid-19-related complications.

Among the deceased are two men aged 45 and 50 years from Kailali, three men aged 60, 72 and 75 years from Mahottari, a 37-year-old man from Banke, a 51-year-old man from Kathmandu, two men aged 41 and 46 from Bara, a 46-year-old woman from Morang and a 53-year-old woman from Bhaktapur.
