Safe in the end: Buddha Air which was flying from Kathmandu to Biratnagar couldn't land at Biratnagar airport due to issue in landing gear and it had to fly back to Kathmandu where it flew for around an hour in the air before it finally landed safely. It was a scary moment for everyone. Official says, "Landing gear was opened but indicator didn't show so to avoid possible danger we had to let the fuel finish before landing and finally it landed safely. Fire Brigade and the Ambulance were kept stand by."

On March 12, 2018, US-Bangla Flight 211 was making its final approach toward kathmandu airport. Very quickly, it became apparent that the pilot had no idea where the runway was.

🚨AIRCRAFT EMERGENCY PROCEDURES💺

✈ (CC) Cabin Crew Provides -
➡ Megaphone
➡ Flashlight (must be handy at all times)
➡ First Aid Kit
➡ Medication Kit
➡ Passenger Comfort Kit
➡ ELT (if portable)

FINAL CABIN CHECK CABIN CREW RESPONSIBILITIES:

➡ Double check that all preparations are completed.
➡ Report "CABIN READY" to Captain

Upon command "EMERGENCY STATIONS", CC takes her assigned seat.

Upon command "BRACE FOR IMPACT", CC immediately assume bracing position while commanding passengers....

🔜🔜🔜🚨"BRACE FOR IMPACT!"🚨🔙🔚🔙

When the aircraft comes to a complete stop and the captain commands, "EVACUATE THE AIRCRAFT", CC will shout the command.

"EMERGENCY! OPEN SEATBELTS! EVACUATE!"

Cabin Crew opens seatbelt, stands by the crew seat 💺 and commands passengers and CC to check outside conditions and initiate the evacuation proceduresby commanding:

"EVACUATE AIRCRAFT OPEN THOSE EXITS!"

When an exit is judged unsafe, block this exit immediately and redirect the passengers to the nearest useable exit. Shout the command:

"EXIT BLOCKED! GO TO THOSE EXITS!"

If the door is safe -

"EXIT HERE, SHOES OFF, JUMP AND SLIDE"

When evacuation is completed:

➡ Check cabin for pinned down passengers and immediately exit with privides through Main Cabin Door.

➡ Assist Flight Deck Crew if necessary.

➡ In extreme cases, the Flight Deck Crew can use the flight deck escape hatch to evacuate.

🔜🔜🔜🔜🚨"UNPLANNED"🚨🔙🔚🔙🔚

A number if emergency situations can occur unexpected during the critical stages of a flight (take-off/landing), however, there may be clues that can warn the cabin crew when a situation is developing so they should always be alert to recognize and interpret these clues.

The most obvious are impact forces, unusual noises, sparks, smoke or fire 🔥 as the altitude of the aircraft.

Cabin crew may initiate an evacuation only under the following conditions:

People are risking their lives to leave Afghanistan after the Taliban took over. Three people have died after falling from a plane flying in the sky on Monday, according to Indian media. It is said that three planes trying to travel by hiding in the wheel of a military ship crashed while taking off.

There have also been videos of people falling from a plane flying over Kabul. In which people can be seen falling.

The news says that they tried to escape by sitting on the tire of a military plane, quoting a local. It is said that after the plane flew in the sky, they fell one by one. Locals have shared the picture of some people's bodies falling on the roof of their houses on social media.

𝗦𝗵𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗔𝗶𝗿𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝗚𝗲𝘁𝘀 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝗔𝗱𝗱 𝗧𝗵𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗔𝗶𝗿𝗰𝗿𝗮𝗳𝘁𝘀 𝗯𝘆 𝗗𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 [ENG/नेपाली]

The Ministry of Culture,Tourism & Civil Aviation,Nepal has given permission to Shree Airlines, a private sector airline, to expand its fleet.

Anil Manandhar, spokesperson of the company, said that they are going to start the process with the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal, CAAN as soon as they get permission from the ministry on Tuesday. He informed that three Bombardier companies are planning to launch Q-400 series turboprop aircrafts by next December after getting permission.

Sources claim Shree Airlines had applied to expand five turboprop aircrafts. But it has been suggested to add three more aircrafts at the beginning and then two more depending on the situation.

Shree Airlines might also fly to international destinations through this series of aircrafts once the COVID situation passes.

The company currently operates regular flights to domestic destinations on two jet-powered CRJ-200, two CRJ-700 and two propeller powered Q-400 series aircraft.

With the addition of three aircrafts, the fleet size of the airline will be nine.
