Our Story

Crosound Studio was established in the late summer of 2016. The studio is located at the countryside about 30 km outside Bergen, Norway. The studio was built, established and is operated by Øystein G. Brun.

Being the founder, main-composer and producer of BORKNAGAR, Øystein has more than 25yrs of experience being an composer, recording artist, engineer and producer. Crosound Studio is the creative hub of BORKNAGAR and CRONIAN, but do also offer services for other/external bands/artists. Main focus are mixing, mastering and master delivery.

In terms of equipment Crosound Studio utilize and combine the very best of two worlds, the analogue and digital, including leading brands such as: SSL, Universal Audio, Tegeler Audio Manufaktur, Dangerous Music, PMC, Steinberg, Softube, Mackie, Brainworx, Waves, Slate digital and more.
