Steamdome III - Beyond The End ❤️ At this very moment, Valkyrien Productions' drone captured 3400 people - beer in hand & silent as mice, engrossed in an entirely new piece of orchestral music. This was an absolutely mind-bending experience, with an absolute fire bunch of musicians and the best audience I've ever witnessed in concert!

There's so many people to thank for making this happen! I'll give it a go!

First of all: my beautiful, smart, patient and supportive girlfriend Nina Birgitte. You did everything - and you and our kids are my everything ❤️

My dear & indefatigable fellow Steamdomers: Erik, Nikolai, Øyvind, Daniel and Olaf - whether my instructions are ultra-specific or hilariously open ("do something cool!"), you ALWAYS bring your hearts into the music, make it explode, implode and everything in between. It makes me so proud to be able to call this amazing bunch MY BAND 🥹

A ridiculously well-prepared Trondheim Symfoniorkester! From Bjørn's bombs at the timpani through Maria's beautiful flute solo to blazing 1/16's flying out from Daniel and his gang of bowed beasts! you nailed it!!

Equally ridiculously well-prepared was conductor (and now friend!) Nick Davies! Nick joined several of our 12 hour-long band rehearsals prior to us meeting the orchestra, in sessions that proved more than essential to the end result. Thank you, Nick, for the inspiration and for taking on the job of the ultimate Rosetta-stone between our two crazy worlds. Building bridges!!

My amazing big sister Kari Johanne for joining us on the final encore, and for cheering me on from the first draft and through the whole process 🥰

An incredible technical staff, led by the best live-sound engineer in the world, and certainly ALWAYS my best friend at FOH for close to 20 years now: Torsken. You are a genius!! And together with your fantastic, elastic and refined buddys Terje Hallan (orchestral sub mix) and Marius Tande (monitor mix), you actually pulled this off- despite ridiculous demands for a complete redo of the orchestral setup from..uhm.. let's just say I at least owe you guys more than one beer!! And finally on the technical side: Steffen Isak Telstad crossfading monumentally with mother nature at the light board. What a bunch!!

Lars Brenli, for finalizing readable parts and score and working relentlessly together with me the final days before deadline!

Steinar, Joakim, Ida and the entire staff from incredible Olavsfest: thank you for taking a chance on this!
