A bit of history
Built in 1978, the studio is one of the oldest in Norway. A lot of amazing records have been cut within these walls. At some point it was bought by a property developer, who planned to demolish it and build other premises. But when work started, it was realized that dynamite would have to be used to break up the studio’s 500+ tons of concrete. The owner eventually gave up and sold it to Christer. So, luckily Cederberg Studios can carry on creating explosive music instead!
