A personal thank you message from Maisen Syse-Sender, ’s daughter:

I would humbly and deeply like to thank everyone who’s called, texted, emailed and sent me flowers. A big thank you to everybody that came to the funeral, and the memorial, to support me and my family, and show/pay their respect to Mom. You came from all over the country, Sweden, Paris and even South Africa. It meant the world to me. I am profoundly grateful for your love!

I would like to send a special thank you to my family at the office: Marianne Hanson, Alexander Norheim, Hege Golf and Christian Bakstad for all the help and support you’ve given me these 3 last weeks since Mom passed, I don’t know what I would’ve done without you!

Also a huge thank you to Jama Awaleh for making the memorial possible and perfect!

To my family from Karmøy, thank you so much for your support and love!

Last but not least, I thank my husband Edvin Syse, and my daughter Alyssa, for taking care of me, making sure that I actually made it through these weeks.

You ALL made the funeral and memorial PERFECT! THANK YOU! ❤️

On behalf of the ’ family, it is with great sorrow we announce the passing of our founder and dearly beloved former manager EIVOR ØVREBØ.

Eivor was undisputedly one of the most influential figures in Norwegian fashion making her mark both locally and internationally. Her continuous passion for the well being of her staff and model kids, as well as the establishment of a healthy fashion market will be part of the legacy that will live on. Yet on a personal note for those who knew her, it is her humor, her words of advice, her tenacity and her continuous support that will live on in our hearts.

Her funeral service will be held Thursday, March 21st kl 1400 at Frogner Kirke with a memorial after. Details TBA.
And in true Eivor’s spirit welcoming everyone into the office for a chat and a laugh, we welcome models and clients to join us celebrate her life and legacy.

Rest in Peace Eivor, we will miss you!

For over 50 years, ’ founder and manager Eivor Øvrebø has been one of the strongest voices of the Norwegian fashion scene, a beacon for Scandinavian representation internationally, one of the makers-and-shakers of the industry and a true example of hard work, passion and dedication. It is with great pride that the Team staff announce Eivor’s official and well deserved retirement from the industry.
We are grateful for all the years of knowledge and wisdom Eivor has passed on to us and we are proud to be able to carry her legacy on to future generations, as well as honoured to be trusted her life’s work on.

Team Models will continue to run as normal with Marianne Hanson as Managing Director, Alexander Norheim as Head of Image & Scouting and Christian Bakstad as In House Photographer & Tech.
In addition we are happy to add Hege Golf as a new booker and Team’s new Head of Development.

Team Models’ name will continue to run under the family banner with her daughter Maisen Syse-Sender on the lead.

We wish Eivor a well deserved retirement and we thank you for your trust yet again!
