Say what you want about street art, but we cant deny the fact that it gives the city, any city, a certian type of character that in turns gives it it's unique identity.

One of those people blessing the city with colourful splendour is, Marie Doyenne. A young passionate lady from Bergen, with an allure for the spray can and a straight forward attitude, the type of attitude some of us yarn to posses.

Founder of The ever so popular No Filter festival and kick boxing enthusiast, Marie joins us on the next episode of MOFTMinds to talk us through her passion for the arts, the does and don'ts and why she indeed is a rebel with a cause.

Live Stream starts at 20:00

Trust me when I tell you that being a creative is not an easy thing. Everytime we do things, we are giving a little bit of our souls. Especially when you do things to benefit others, we give even more. It gives us joy to give you joy. That one act of selflessness, that one act of integral consciousness, that one act of love. We do not take it for granted, and you not taking it for granted, makes us continue. Being a foreigner here is also not an easy thing, and being a super creative intelligent woman, doubly so. But some people just do and continue to do, irrespective of the background noise. Thank you to Eunice Hammond-Mørklid for joining us on MOFTMinds and giving us her insight on her path. Truly inspiring! Support your local artist and support your local business. And more importantly, support your friends! Link below if you missed it👇

Joining us tonight on MOFTMinds, is a charismatic leader of the youth and artist by way of The Democratic Republic Of Congo, Paul Bakabelemama from DBergen . This is bound to be an interesting conversation as we dive into his art. Why choosing HipHop as a medium of expression doesnt necessarily make you a rapper, as this may or may not, inevitably, define who you are. Why explaining this to people is exhausting. Why being open minded can be a form of activism in a place where the norms are like an invisible monster breathing down your shoulders. These are some of the questions. Link below to catch up with us and yes, our doors are open to the public. Corona collective coma is almost over and its time for us to stretch:)

Moftminds S3Conversation2: (BLACK VOICE LIKE BLACK HAIR) : Mira Craig joins the Moftminds set to talk about her art and her activism. Its an activism thats easily overlooked, but the exclusion of black hair in Norwegian hair salons isnt something that should be overlooked. As this is actually a not so subtle form of discrimination.
