A strategic ESG investment partnership with financial services company Nelnet and Ripple recently, through a $44 million clean energy fund for solar energy projects in the US.

To reduce the industry’s carbon footprint, the joint investment by Ripple will fund clean energy projects throughout the country and contribute to the reduction of over 1,5 million tons of carbon dioxide over 35 years.

An international airport in Venezuela is reportedly preparing to start accepting cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin (BTC), dash (DASH), and Venezuela's oil-pegged digital currency as payment for tickets and other services.
Maiquetia airport director Freddy Borges noted. According to the executive, the crypto payment option would benefit foreign tourists, who come from all over the world.

“We must advance in these new economic and technological systems to be accessible,” Borges reportedly stated.

Bitcoin price extended its upward move above the USD 54,000 resistance. BTC was able to move above the USD 53.200 resistance and it spiked above USD 55,000. It is currently consolidating gains above USD 54,500 and it might rise further above USD 55,500.

On the other hand, most major altcoins are struggling to gain pace. ETH is consolidating near the USD 3,500 pivot, while XRP finally reached the USD 1.05 resistance levels. ADA moved closer to USD 2.20 again.

AMC CEO Adam Aron announced that his company would accept Dogecoin after running a Twitter poll that was liked by none other than Tesla CEO Elon Musk. They will also add support for Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, and Bitcoin Cash by the end of the year.

The Qatari National Bank (QNB) is set to launch a cross-border payment solution powered by blockchain payments firm Ripple Labs Inc and will see cash movements to Turkey.
“QNB always innovates to provide the best of service to its customers, and this partnership is yet another FinTech initiative of the bank to enhance the product offerings for our customers,” said Heba al-Tamimi, general manager for group retail banking at QNB.
The deal is a financial innovation that not just mimics advancing trends in the MENA region but will also considerably lower remittance costs.

The London-based company – Luno – conducted a survey in several countries to determine the reasons that drove them into trading cryptocurrencies.

The results showed, most of the three African countries's residents are financially savvy and invest in sensible and long-term goals as 69% of them deal with crypto to provide a better life for their families.

Bitcoin price formed a base above the USD 47,750 level and started a strong increase. BTC rallied above the USD 45,500 resistance. It is currently up nearly 10% and it could rise further above USD 48,000.

Ethereum ($ETH), the second-largest cryptocurrency by market cap reclaimed $3,000 support again earlier today. The top altcoin like the rest of the crypto market experienced a bearish September with negative returns.
After breaking out of the downtrend, the next key resistance would lie at the $3,500 mark and it could very well retest the $4,000 mark.
