On this page we present selected projects from Øya Interaktiv. The company is owned by Kristian Mosvold - and is founded to explore new ways of development and production of interactive stories, outreach, sales and distribution - of documentary films.

We´re also proud to cooperate with Cargo Film and Releasing for a Nordic office for world sales of documentary films. In 2008 he founded Substans DA with Vidar Mortensen, a company that did project lead for a range of cultural events, such as a symposion for the norwegian national poet, Henrik Wergeland. The company also produced films. While in 2012 he founded Substans Film to solely work on films and interactive projects. In 2015 Øya Interaktiv was founded, to focus on outreach and interaktiv projects. Mosvold had then already teamed up with Steffan Strandberg and Dan Korneli and founded Øya Film shortly after.
Øya Film is currently producing Christine Cynn´s documentary Shooting Ourselves, while Øya Interaktiv is producing the interactive component We are the Gun (pithced at IDFA 2014 and Pixel Lab 22015).
